Lady Gaga Concert!

Finally, what I was waiting & hoping for to happen is here! Me and my friends watched the Lady Gaga concert.:D So happy to have this opportunity!

And because I love her so much, I also had my Lady Gaga bangs :P

Tickets were sold out!

This was the crowd before the concert starts. More people and celebs coming in at a later time. The whole Araneta is filled with Lady Gaga lovers as the concert starts. We were all standing and dancing while she was singing. Araneta was filled with so much energy that night.

The first song she sang was my favorite, "Paparazzi". The people got crazier when we heard her voice. This is where I started to get more excited!

This was the set where she enters with a motorbike.

And just what I am thrilled to see, she performed "Poker Face" and "Brown Eyes", acoustic version while playing the piano. She's a total performer, not only good in singing but also in dancing, composing her own music and playing the piano. I wish I was sitting nearer to get closer shots of her.

I come across a staff inside Araneta wearing Lady Gaga costume :P

We had fun! Definitely will watch her concert again if she comes back here in Manila <3

Elbows Room Lounge & Decades

My good friend from Malaysia is here to stay for a week. We went for a night out yesterday..Yes on a Monday! Expectedly, there were only few people that night, which is very odd for me, haha! I planned to bring Oyco to Alchemy in Pasig, but i was irritated to find out that the bar was closed...even I have called them to confirm, LOL! Anyways, here are our bonding photos together while playing some pool :)

Had a few drinks, cosmopolitan and singaporean sling..cherry smells wicked! lol

Last stop before we call it a night, we just hang out in Decades. Its a dance club, and only 3 tables were occupied including ours. Its good to dominate the club by yourself but my energy wasnt that high to go super dancing. Anyways it was still a fun night, especially im with a close friend which is rarely here. On Friday night, party again and more photos to come...

The Manor

A newly opened Penthouse type of bar in Libis. The night is still early but people keeps on coming and believe me, there's a line of people outside.

Stephen and Aizel

This is my close friend Stephen, we were classmates since kinder and went to the same school at UST, since highschool.

Review:

Ambiance: 8 (The place is awesome, crowd is on fire, but its also difficult to dance with people keeps passing by. And its just too much fog! LOL)

Sounds: 9 (All the nicest techno, rnb and hiphop music were played. Its just that they switch music too fast! Theres a lot of DJs in the house, they rock!)

Staff: 7 (I just think its not cool of their "no re-entry" policy even we had stamp on our arm. LOL! There's many bouncers around, one is always at my back, haha! im not gonna start trouble)

Drinks: 7 (I just had San Mig Lights so I cant comment on this much. I prefer for San Mig Strong Ice but then its not in their list of consumable drinks.)

Price: 7 (If you are not on the guestlist, you have to pay P350 for entrance fee with 2 consumable drinks, its affordable but of course its better if its free! LOL)

Will I go back?

Yes. I'd recommend this to my friends. The place and music are great! Most of the crowd is in social class, I heard that some celeb go here. But thats not why I'll go there :P

Just be prepared to stand for very long time coz the seats are only for VIPs. Its okay, im there to dance and their dance music makes my feet go crazy.

Night out with my Zorpia friends, Tony & Janet with my sister and some newly met acquiantance

Waiting for couple of minutes and relaxing with my favorite drinks in Starbucks. Some says Starbucks sucks coz its kinda pricey...but it doesnt bother me, its not everyday that I go there, haha!

Dinner @ Burgoo Restaurant

Not my favorite but it was the nearest resto so we end up eating there.

The food was overwhelming but more is better than less :D

It was a nice meal! Forget our diet for that night.

As you could see, there's really lots of people in Technowave Bar that night.

Me and my sister Kate, my dance buddy, party partner in crime, LOL!

She loves to party and dance like me. =)

The keyboard has a very good voice. He sings better than a woman, LOL

This band is great also, the girl in brown top went to me and asked me to dance. I was the FIRST chick to dance that night....take note on the stage! :P It was fun and other people start dancing afterwards.

Saturday: Ladies Night

Best Dance Move Contest. The contestant who gets the most claps win.

Prize: A bottle of champagne

They picked 6 girls which includes me and my sister, and the contest is about having the best moves in the tune of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce.

I very much wanted to win and give the prize to Tony and Janet as a wedding gift :P Too bad we only had 4 supporters from our table. Our opponent seems like they brought their whole barangay, haha! Its fine, there would also be a next time. I met the bar staff and got my #. Any events I'll be in their guestlist ;)

Review:

Drinks: 9 (coz I havent tried that much drink)

Band: 8 (Band isnt that well known but they kick ass, they carry the crowd)

Staff: 9 (very accomodating and friendly)

Ambiance: 10 (It was fun and lively! Many people that night and you'd feel everybody is having a good time)

Will I go back?

Definitely! I had a very good time so why not?! :P

My Adventure in Xian, China

I had a wonderful time seeing great places in Xian, trying out more SPICY foods and meeting great colleagues and friends! Definitely an adventure and moments I will treasure forever <3

Of course the most important part of the trip - WORK! Busy people in this busy room, but if you wonder why we look lazy, its because this is just a break time, harhar!

Basketball time!

This is my first time to play real basketball game, where I experienced being pushed to the floor by Mike and getting all that sweaty. Totally not sexy! But thats me, showing my moves, yeah baby! BTW i had the ball entered the ring 3x ^.^

Riding in a cable car makes my tummy feel funny. Its mixed emotion really, i feel chasing my breath but dont worry, I didnt throw up. Im a tough cookie!

We did some mount hiking in Mount Huashan. I didnt reach the very most top but I reached far enough. It was a long long long way up to the top but its a sweet glory. :D

I see the great wonders of nature up above here.

Im actually doing a Z sign not a snake sign, LOL!

Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses

This is one of the highlights of my trip. This WOW me really! Such a magnificent work of art. I feel so blessed to see this.

We watched theater show about the story of their early Dynasty. I enjoyed it! It opened my eyes to richness of their tradition and culture.

Now its party time! Everybody really had a good time and gone crazy, bwahahaha! Moving on to crazier part:

This is my co-workshoppers from Voice class. Although our class didnt perform today, its still good knowing new friends and my teacher. Hooray! For sure I will miss it. Congratulations to all workshoppers of KM.

I always love her since I saw her on MTV. She has her unique style, great voice & dance moves and awesome songs!!! Last Friday, I bought her CD, weeeee!!!! Finally I have it. I was so excited to listen to all the tracks. Its one of my "must buy" this month. I enjoyed listening to it. I just so love to dance and her music makes me want to dance all the time. Lady GAGA you rule!

My First Easter Egg Design

I spent sometime today creating my Easter egg design. It was funnnnnyyyyyy. Check the photos in the making.

The Barangays have set up the stage and had dance contest. Many dance group joined. I took some shots

This group is my bet. Costume and chereograph is good but they got disqualified coz one of their member, a kid, wearing a diaper (for laugh) has removed it and exposed his ....

The Muro Ami group (divers from the sea) LOL They are also good!

Jan 25

The Barangay have also prepared games for the kids and teens:

Breaking the egg game.

The egg are ties on their waist. They should hit each other's egg and break it. The one who breaks both of the eggs win.

Hitting the pot game. (palayok = pot)

They had the kid and teen version of hitting the pot game. Contestants are lined up, one by one they have to hit the pot while blindfolded. Inside the pot, there are goodies. Children are waiting for the pot to get hit and they will get the goodies scattered on the floor. The person that hits and breaks the pot wins.

Blowing of starch game

They have to blow the starch inside the plastic cup. The person who is able to empty the plastic cup first, wins.

Apple eating contest

There is kid and teen version. The one who finish eating the apple first wins.

Catching the egg game

There are 4 pairs and they will have to throw and catch the egg without breaking it. They will repeat the process and move backward, creating more distance from each other. The pair who dont break the egg wins.

Finding coin game

The coin is hidden deep in the starch. They have to blow the starch and find the coin.

Calamansi Game

The calamansi is placed on a spoon. They have to walk around the chair and back to the line. Once they got back to the line, they have to transfer the calamansi to the other players using just their mouth. The aim is to finish all the players and the calamansi from the spoon shouldnt fall.

Paper dance contest

Pair of players dancing around the newspaper. When the music stops, they have to stand in the newspaper. After that, they have to fold the newspaper by half, and the process repeats. The pair who wont fall outside the newspaper wins.

Hephep Hooray game.

Players line up and when the host points to you, you have to shout "Hephep" then wherever the host points again, the other player should shout "Hooray". This game is fast so you have to be alert and attentive what the previous player have shouted.

Bring me game.

Haha! There are lots of trash around so the host said, whichever group brings her the most trash wins. So they picked up & collects all the trash.

Year 2008 has already passed and a new year has come. I loose some people but I gained some important ones. My relationship with my dad & some relatives has been closer and looking forward to more memories of them. While I was on my holiday, I have been to some beautiful places which I never thought & expected I will be. It was quite an adventure and busy holiday for me, but Im happy to share my photos with you.

We got our henna tattoo done earlier that day. Its a sign for year of the pig. Im one *oink oink*

That night, we went out clubbing @ Formula, Timog with my sister. Dance till we drop, had cocktails and beer. Met few people. It was fun fun fun!!!

Kublai's Bar, Timog

Rakrakan

Such a sweaty and hot night inside Kublai's Bar, Timog during the Rakrakan series.

We were able to watch Sequel and Paraluman. I cant take close up photo of the band, there's too much people.

Ahahaha...my sister joined the beer drinking contest. Unfortunately, she didnt win but it was fun! I was cheering out loud for her that night. Too bad, the photo quality isnt that good when zooming.

We have to switch to a different club, its just too suffocating in Kublai's, so we went to Decades in Timog. There we tried different drinks. From Red Horse to Coors to Singaporean Sling to Bloody Mary to Tequila. I dont like the Bloody Mary, its just a tomato juice for me, LOL!

A. Venue Events Hall

My Friday night was awesome, i went to a Tattoo Expo & Competition. Its such a great event. I was able to witness total urban lifestyle experience. Tribal gear together with the Philippine Tattoo Artist Guild (PHILTAG) were there to present the Dutdutan 08 event which highlights creativity of our best local tattoo artists. A night filled with art, showing enthusiasm & uniqueness in their creation. Check out the awesome photos I took.

The 2 girls are from Tribal gear. I love the tatoo of the girl in shorts. :D

He's one of the hot tatts that night. A lot of people took photos of him which i also did.

Haha! I told him to turn his back on me. :P

Look at that! Its cool but do you know how much that cost? :O So expensive, but it was done well.

There are also bands that perform that night: Kamikazee, Parokya ni Edgar, Sandwich, Pedicab, Angulo

Last Sunday, me, Gino and Janet visited the Ocean Park in Manila. It was a splendid weekend. This photo is in front of Ocean Park.

The largest crab i have ever seen!Eek scary!

This is a camouflage fish, now which one is the fish?
