The potpourri of my feeling couldn't be expressed in words. It's been ghosting me since this morning. I'm afraid of taking out my faking mask in public.

 

I'm a coward.

 

The egoness of mine had swollen me. I should have let down my pride.

HOHOHO.... I had just back from Australia.

 

My family trip together with one of our friend. We did spent 8 nights over there and 2 night on flight, started from 21 August until 31st. And now, recalling my memory...

 

 

Day 1

My dad drifted to kl. Departure time 1.30pm (after I came back from school at 12pm). Arrived at 4pm. Tea time. Flight departed at 9++pm. About 8 hours flight to reach Coolangatta Airport at Gold Coast. Suffering night on A.A. flight, dissapointed dinner set and cold air conditioned. Unwaited anxiety ghosted me...

 

 

Day 2

Stepped out from the plane, cold breezy air assaulted me. A fresh new morning, fulled with excitement.

"I'm now in Gold Coast!!!" It's awesome.

We took a cab to our pre-booked apartment. It's along the coast, Surfers Paradise.Wohoo... Afternoon, hunted for food. Huge sandwiches with large succulent fries. Finger-lips, it's nice! And then to Woolworths for some food and stuffs. At night, took a stroll around. Night scene of the town with glittered light spotting around...

 

 

Day 3

It's SeaWorld!

Adorable dolphins and sealions' shows, 4D environment conservation's show, and I finally saw polar bears!!! Took some heart-attacking rides, especially the brand new Jet Rescue, is a must!

 

 

Day 4

Warner Brothers' Movie World. Amazing world. Every rides with its theme, Stunt Driver's show with burning rubber, and the Shrek's 4D show too. Ride recommended: Scooby-doo!

 

 

Day 5

Dream World. And I met one of my favourites cartoon icons, SPONGEBOB! Took the kids' rides, flying with squarepants...Wohoo! After took the The Craw and Wipe-out, I felt like coming out from a washing machine...I did, even though I never stay in it before. Best!

 

 

Day 6

Reached Gold Coast bus station. Took the bus to Brisbane. One hour journey. Bus with seat belts, toilet, and free drinking water too! Can't get this here. And then, taxi cab again to our tudor-styled apartment at Spring Hill. After dawn, took a shuttle bus to China Town. The landmark was under construstion, nothing much to visit since most of the shops closed after 5. Wandering around. There's a lot chinese restaurants and some with meats hanging in front of the shops... Couldn't stop my saliva...Miss malaysia cuisine.

 

 

Day 6

Round Brisbane city with "City-Sights Bus" and City-Cat ferry. Had a panoramic view on Mount Coot-Tha.

 

 

Day 7

Departed to Tangalooma. A lot of seabirds at the port. Missed the safari desert tour. We walked up the hill for a nice scenery of the island. An exhausted day.

 

 

Day 8

Shopping at the city. Queens Mall, and across the Victoria Bridge to South Bank. Got some clothes. Yeah! And there's an artificial man-made beach in the middle of this city!

 

 

Day 9

Went to Eagle St. in the morning. Got a lot of souvenirs from the stall here. Noon, leaved Brisbane and back to Gold Coast. Reached airport then. Departed...

 

 

Day 10

4am...We're in Malaysia. Happy Merdeka Day.

I gotta miss Australia...

 

 

 

 

Comment

 

Weather   Well, before the trip, my mum told me that it's gonna be very cold in Australia. She bought each of us a sweater. At last, we only managed to use it on flight. It's sunshine yet with cold breezy air...

 

Food   Typically western food. Huge set with cheaper price. Ice-cream preferrence, vanila with cookies crunch. Till a box of ice-cream was bought and finished it in 4 days.

 

Currency   Everything bought, times 3 the price. Lump sum...

 

Shopping   A lot of unique and hand-made items at the market. Shopping centre were mushroomed at Brisbane city.

 

People   Manners and polite. Patient in telling the way.

 

H1N1   None of them were wearing mask as I had seen over there. Airport, no too. But on the flight coming back to Malaysia, there's a lot! Speechless.

 

 

After came back, my dad asked us to comment about this trip.

 

" Can I go there again? "

 

 

 

 

 

P/s  Trial the next day, finished 2 subjects' papers. 2 more to go for the next two following weeks, and I'll be in kl this weekend. Well, just be fair to all subjects....Don't study anyone of them???
