haunted by a song lately
the melody is stepwise, flowing, not of a straightforward tonality
interesting, not so lively as to be danceable but giving a feeling of a swing
sounds like one of those songs in the 8:30 drama "pearl of orient"
kind of a 60s 70s style
i can even put mandarin lyrics at some point, just 1 or 2 words though
imaginary? or just a picked-up from somewhere?

說話 有時候會很不同
聲調 音高 語句長短 身體語言 等等
跟小孩子（乖那種）說話 人都會變温柔一點
笑容多一點 甚至像小孩一般變可愛了
有時候 跟家人朋友說話 我們用盡方法給對方一個
「the conversation is not desired」的印象
為什麼呢？
我們都說「扮可愛」
可愛原來要扮的
因為不再是小孩的人不再可愛
所以要出力的扮才行
要可愛 i.e. lovable 就要先付出
thought about why people engage in love affairs
after being asked the same question
of coz anyone with a bit of decency will say
it's becoz the 2 people "love each other"
oh well.. but (earthly) love is about more of a state than a cause of an action
so what could be such cause, or explanation, for engaging in a relationship?
for fun and enjoyment / for feeling good / for satisfying needs /
for dialogues of love / for the consequence of some "heat-of-the-moment" decision
my intention I am conscious of
only i'm not doing enough to follow with it

guess i left my brain somewhere in america
as i've been in a state of "are-u-outta-ur-mind" lately
gotta get back my petty brain soon
when u say u r "being spontaneous" or "following the way my heart directs"
let's say u do sth out of genuine spontaneity, without any pretense of benevolence
that does not gurantee what u do is what u should do
we forgot that thing called subconsciousness that sometimes governs our action
whenever our consciousness steps aside
u may get frustrated when what people do is not quite ur way
or some kind of people are just not ur cup of tea
ur upset becoz ur presumption that people will act a certain way fails
presumption - exactly the thing i hate most out of all human action
remember winston has said
we should watch our thoughts for they become what we speak
our speech in turn becomes our action
our action then develops into our habit
if u feel frustration when people fail to do ur bidding
in a relation, u feel defeated when that other person does not follow ur way of thinking
u may have let too much presumption creep in
to allow room for the dangerous mistake of manipulation to grow
all along i've been looking for verification that says what i want to be true is true
everything i do i want it to follow my plan
like asking a question with the answer in mind
forgot that it's not about working on a project
when, according to prof. ko, u should begin with the end in mind
it's not in the context where everything's about setting objectives and achieving goals
don't ever assume an end when the next thing u encounter could spring from millions of possibilities
