Well, haven't updated this in a long time. Not much interesting happening, I guess. I can't believe I haven't gone skiing again since getting my skis... just the once. I wanted to go this weekend, but couldn't find anybody that was up for it. Oh well... there's always next year (and this season isn't completely over yet either of course).

Went skiing yesterday for the first time this year. Got my own equipment now, got boots and picked up a pair of used skis just on Thursday. Unfortunately, my bindings were not *quite* right... I thought they might be "close enough" but nope. Got to the slopes and realized that the bindings needed to be remounted. So close... just a few more millimeters and they would have been fine... *sigh*. Oh well. Guess that means the skis cost a little more to get usable, plus wasted an hour or two of ski time. On the other hand, I have all the equipment I need ...

Well, it's a new year, and I notice that I haven't updated or posted anything in ages. I'm not very good at this I guess! I guess it's a fresh year, and I can attempt to post some fresh content now.
Being back home in Canada was good, saw a few people and relaxed for a while. The trip back was not particularly pleasant though! Delayed for 3 hours before the plane could even take off to go to Chicago... which brings me to New Year's Resolution #1: Avoid flying through Chicago O'Hare airport!! I almost always end up delayed when going through there. ...
