I have changed the look of my xanga again~ White background is kind of plain... and the old one has a white background as well.. so let's have a pink one this time... the teddy bear is SO cute!

Well, I had a normal sch day today... nothing reli special. Today is the 1st of March, which means there are only 25 days before the term ends and for the deadline of my coursework as well... :(

The result of my first AS module exam will be out on the 11st of March. I am kind of worry, cos I believe I had not done it well... esp Bio... ai... hope at least all Bs la...

Sh*t, Chem investigtaion (Wed), anxious, ===> FAIL

2004年2月28日 下午7點40分00秒I worked for the FnN coursework from 10 to 2...

I worked for the FnN coursework from 10 to 2 in the morning... I am glad that I have finished the background information... tmr I am going to finish the other 4 sections...

I have just left the party of Ajrina's B-day... I am tired cos I was in the kitchen from 4 to 7, with Eppie (in the middle, Erica, Zita, Eugenia and April joined in) to prepare and cook for the party... And now my clothes stinks... gosh... I should not have shower before the cooking... however you guys know that I like having shower in the morning...

We cooked fried rice, stir fry noodle, satay chicken, prawn crackers and shushi. And for the desserts there were banana cake and lime tart. Also we had crisps and coke as well... I am kind of pleased with the shushi making, it is much better than last time (which is in Cindy's b-day, I guess??) Well, I have to thx Auntie Yuen, who shows me how to make shushi... hehe... :)

I have changed the theme of my xanga: seashells. I loved to collect seashells when I was small. Due to some reasons, I was facisnated by these little little shells. Also it reminds me one of the tough twisters that I learnt in primary school:

She sells sea shells by the seashore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

If you guys have any opinion, comment and/ or suggestion abt my xanga, PLZ do tell me! :)

Well, today I spent the whole morning changing the look of my xanga... which I was suppose doing my coursework. I did 3 sections of the cw this afternoon. Em... I have finished the background information, and now I am working on the analysising of the data that I have collected.

Then I had a 15 mins nap before supper. My eyes were tied and dry due to a long use of pc... After supper, I did my chemistry investigation practice sheet and a composition for ESL, with a topic of 'In the world nowadays, there are different kinds of music. Why do you think music is important? Do you think traditional music of a country is more important than the international music that we heard everywhere in the world?' I spent 30 mins and wrote a side and a half of a A4 paper for the prep.

Then Aley, Jasmine and I were working on the Company report. Well, it is on a good progress... tmr in the meeting we are going to work on the sections of Personnel and Marketing...

2004年2月27日 上午5點00分00秒For every Fri, I only have 4 lessons in...

For every Fri, I only have 4 lessons in total: double Bio in the first 2 lessons and double F&N for the last 2 lessons... Mrs Smalldorn has gone to the religious trip to Temple and Mrs Kitto is not in today... therefore, NO LESSONS FOR TODAY! Hehehehe....

However I have made used the time, to do work.

I had a great chat with Mandy abt higher education, she saved a copy of her personal statement for me as well... thx, Mandy! :D

I posted a letter to Queen Mary Hospital to see whether they could provide me a work shadowing in the dietetics apartment. Well, I will hope for the best.

Maths gives me a greater flexbility on choosing subjects in uni... On the other hand, F&N is what I interested in... However and honestly, I believe there are no degrees strongly recommend applicants to have done F&N...

Also, the other problem that I am facing is, the course which I want to study, Nutrition and Dietetics (or with similar terms), that the uni only consider applications from residents of the EU. Overseas applicants can not be admitted to this programme unless there are insufficient home students. well, I am not sure it is apply for all the uni which provide this course in UK, however at least King's College London, Nottington, Surrey (which are the better choices among the others) are.

Undergraduate degree courses leading to Registration can be completed at the following Universities:

King's College London

Leeds Metropolitan University

London Metropolitan University

Well, I can contact the Course Convener and ask abt my eligibility for the course. However, if I am not considered as a home student, that means I am not be admitted to the programme. So, I think I am going to do courses which are similar, such as Nutrition, being a nutritionist instead of a dietician, which is what I want to be.

Alternative ways include, return to HK to have higher education, there are unis provide similar courses that I want to study. (I prefer to have my higher education here!) Or I can continue my higher education after the degree, to have a master in dietetics. (This will take me 5 years! Gosh, how old will I be and how much will it cost?!)

For the above course, Nutrition and Dietetics, which leads to State Registration in Dietetics, it only takes 4 years.
