With a series of reports, more and more people become aware of the fact that it is against the law to use foul language on the bus, on MTR, or at the airport. Now, parents have another reason to tell their children to stop using foul language: you may face prosecution.We always ask for the reason when we are told to do (or not to do) something. Most of the time, what we can get as a reply is really weird, if you ask me. I can't actually find any relationship between what we are told to do and the reason they tell us. Why should we go to school? It's because we have to gather enough knowledge so that we can pass the exam, not because we have to learn important values and meanings of life or to learn how to get along with others and live in the complicated world. Why can't we throw rubbish on the street? It's because throwing rubbish on the street was an offence, but not because it is selfish to damage our environment. Are the parents trying to tell us that if there are no more tests and exams, it is meaningless to go to school and learn? Are they telling us that if we have enough money to pay the fine, we can throw rubbish everywhere? Nowadays, people, especially the younger generation, just look at the consequence, but never bother to think about what is right and what is wrong. We slowly lose our ability to tell the difference. I know the baboons are really too naughty to damage the houses (People are even more angry when they found that all those are expensive, high-class houses occupied by wealthy residents near the shore.) and scaring the little child and stealing our food. But have you ever come to think about it and realised that we, human beings, asked for it? If we didn't cut down all the trees in the forest, destroying the baboons' home, taking away their land and food (so that we can build all those fancy little houses) in the first place, do they have to bother to break into our homes to be the burglars and then be blamed by us all? If it's not for us, they can freely wander across wherever was originally belong to them and easily get whatever food they want instead of taking all the troubles just to get into our crowded homes and steal the leftover!   People, we are sacrificing the poor animals' basic needs for our own luxury!! WE are the thieves, who took others' resources for granted, the robbers, who ruthlessly grabbed others' homes. How come hunters have every reason to kill whatever animals they think are valuable, but the animals don't even have the right or the chance to ask for what they owned back?   Look at ourselves and think, before putting the blame on others.                                                                                                                                                   * How come the time's not right?! 4 hours ahead!!!
