درجت العادة أن نتبادل عبارات التهنئة بالعام الجديد في مثل هذه الأيام، خصوصا مع تزامن موعد دخول العامين الهجري والميلادي، مما يجعل العبارات المتبادَلة أضعاف المعتاد في مثل هذه المناسبات. لكننا استقبلنا عامنا الهجري على أصوات القنابل والمدافع التي شعرنا أننا عشنا أجواءها تماما وكأننا في قلب غزة وهي واقعة تحت القصف، وعلى هذه الأصوات ذاتها نستقبل العام الميلادي الجديد، فأنّى لنا أن نتفاءل بعام جديد أفضل من سابقه، أو سابقيه!
