Searching for my wife...,

I walk down the tunnel a long narrow, musty smelling, dark walkway
i am searching for my WOMAN
i see a faint light at the end of the tunnel
how much farther must i go
every step i take the light gets brighter
i see a WOMAN in the doorway at the end of the tunnel
could that be my WOMAN
my hands reaching out in hopes she will accept me
the breeze carries her scent which makes me walk faster.
reach out and take my hand
i will respect you if you respect me
if you will allow me to be your MAN
i will make you the happiest WOMAN alive

I need a friend who along with time can help my broken heart to mend.
I need a friend who can lend me their ears, someone who can dry my face of the many fallen tears.

Sad But True...,

My eyes filled with sorrow,
my heart an empty place,
your touch, smile and beauty,
can only feel that space,
sometimes I think there’s no reason,
to live another day,
