I love to chat with people around the world! I love to chat about God, the future, prophecy, heaven, hell, Jesus, Christian, about you and me! Did you know that life as you know it is about to end! Jesus the Christ is coming back to planet earth to set up His earthly kingdom! Do you know what has to happen before He returns? You need to know how this will affect your life! You need to know what the bible says! : -)))
...
Before Christ returns to set up His kingdom, He comes to take His church home to heaven. (Please watch the video of this awesome event!) Heaven Is So Real! Just as real as the ground you walk on! Hell is also very real. Every human that has ever lived, will end up on one of these two final destinations. Which one will you choose? Always remember, if you ignore God, you cannot get into Heaven. There is only ONE WAY into heaven, and that is to be born again, or born of the Holy Spirit, and become a child of the Most High God! Always remember, "without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin." If your religon does not center on the death, burial and resurrection of the Christ, it will NOT lead you to heaven.

Q,
The book is very weak on the chapter on hell. Over the last 20 years, God has taken many to see the place. You can believe it is very real, just as Jesus discribed it in the story of Lazarus. Just logic would say, if hell does not exist, then heaven cannot exist either. And if neither of these exist, then God is only a myth.
But the truth is, they all are very real.
Look up spiritlessons.com
it is probably blocked and you may need a proxy server. Many storys of people taken to see hell.

Many thanks, Lyle.
I know the author of that book must be an expert in bible teaching. He is quite productive, with several books on bible study. Anyway, it must be one expert's view.
I will have a look of the reports on that website.
In the past, I leant something about near death stories telling about people's experience after death. But there are some arguments on the reliability of those stories.

Dear Lyle,
I once read a story on the web. It was a story about a person who was drown.
A man was in danger in a flood. He climbed to roof of his house. A boat came to rescue his, but he refused. He told the rescuers that he would wait for god to rescue him. Later a helicopter came to rescue him. He refused again for the same reason. In the end, he drown. Then he complaimed to god for not rescuring him. God told him that first he sent a boat to rescue the person, later a helicopter to rescue him. But both time he refused.
My understanding of the story is that god aks people to help each other and be good citizens of the society.
Any intepretation from you on the story?

I enjoy talking with you. You are knowledeble. I read some other stories related to God or bible and know that God can do things differently.
When I read a book "The Way of Life", a book on bible study. I think people should live a full life. Life is limited. One should use the limited time to serve god, to do useful things for the society, and for others.

Lyle,
Not exactly.
My understanding is that after a person die. There will be no life for him/her. He/She will stay unconscious until God returns. Then God will make the judgement whether that person will have eternal life or eternal death.
For those who believe in God will get eternal life, and is born again.

Q,
How can you understand that, when Jesus told the story of the rich man and Lazarus? After they both died, they were very much alive; one in paradise and one in hell. And Paul said, to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. Then it is written that when Jesus comes to take His church home, He will bring the spirits of all those that have died "in Christ." So of course they have been in heaven ever since they died. Finally, there have been so many that have died and came back ,and SAW first hand people they knew that had died.
Born again, means that God has severed you from the lineage of Adam, and made you a child of God. NO ONE from Adam's family can get to heaven, because they all carry Adam's sin. No, a change must be made. It is like a rebirth, from a different family. In fact, is the the family of God Himself!! God the holy Spirit reaches down inside the body and recreates the human spirit in an instant, into a new species that did not exist before. THAT is being born again. And it came come ONLY through faith in Jesus Christ.

Dear Lyle,
It is nice to meet on the net.
In a book about bible reading, it is said that there is no heaven or hell.
The authors of that book have consulted several references on bible. It is said that hell is just another word for grave. People misinterpreted that word when they translate the bible from one version to another version. Similarly, heaven is also misinterpreted.
What is your view?
Thanks

q,
From the time the first parts of the bible were written, thousands of years ago, people have been trying to discredit it. So why don't you look yourself, instead of taking someone else's word for it. Does this sound like a grave?
Revelation 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (This is the final judgement.)
Matthew 13:42
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
q, do dead bodies in a grave gnash their teeth?
Mark 9:43
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
q, I don't think there is a fire in a grave.
Matthew 3:10
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 5:22
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Matt. 13
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Does this sound to you like a body goes into a grave, and that's it? The truth is, man is a spirit being that only lives in an "earth suit" (our body) for a while. The body goes into the grave, but the spirit lives on. Most are cast into hell, because they chose against God.
Matthew 18:8
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
Just as heaven is forever - so is hell forever. Only after the final judgment, they are cast into the lake of fire.
Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Is the grave the end? Is there a heaven? Will there be a resurrection?
Mark 12
18 Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
Here is the story of two men:
Luke 16
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Always remember, God said this is His word, that ...well, here is how God said it:
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
So you can stake your eternal life that these words are true.

Q,
There is only one measure by which we all shall be measured when it comes to heaven or hell. God came to earth as a man, the man Jesus Christ. He had planned it before the foundation of the earth. He died in our place, and took our place in hell. His blood removes our sins as far as East is from the West. We are saved by faith through His grace: it is not of works we do, so no man can boast. Salvation is a gift of God, to those that believe in the Name Of Jesus Christ.
All false religions want us to die for them, but the truth is, God died for us.

Many thanks for your detailed reply, Lyle.
I read those things about the hell, and heaven from a bible reading book.
The author of that book believes in god and bible. There is one chapter on the hell and the heaven. There are some detailed description about these two terms.
There are also stories explaining the fire in the hell in that book. It is said that the word 'hell" originated from the word "grave". The fire in the hell is about someplace in ancient Israel where dead body were incinerated.
The author of that book believe that bible was written by god, and it is consistent.
My understandings are that that book should not be in contradiction with bible.
I will consult that book again and see what are said there.
Anyway I believe in god. I have no doubt on the authenticity of the bible.

no no!! You did not offend. I cannot be offended. Neither did what you said bother me in the least. But if you read my profile, you saw that I was married.
:-)
I am here, not for a wife or lover, but for friends, and to spread the gospel to all nations. Erna, time is VERY short: when Jesus was on the earth He said it was "the last days." Now it is 2000 years later, and this age is at the very brink of destruction. Do you know what comes next?
