The Suicide Note....

The suicide note of late former President Roh Moo-hyun was saved in a Hangul file on a computer at his residence. Under the title of ``Many people are suffering too much because of me,'' the file was saved for the last time at 5:44 a.m., May 23. A full translation of the note follows. ― ED.

I am indebted to too many people. Many people are suffering too much because of me.

The sufferings that will come are unfathomable. What is left for the rest of my life will be nothing but a burden to others.

I can't do anything due to bad health. I can't read, nor can I write.

Don't be too sad. Life and death are both just a part of Nature, aren't they? Don't feel sorry. Don't blame anyone. It's all fate.

Cremate my body. And set up just a very small gravestone for me near the house. It's a thought I've pondered over for long.
