havnt got any particular to type..cos if here's sth to note what i have been doing for the c'mas celebration, it will be a disaster of words for you guys, so i kind of retreat back to..well..of what-to-do
alright, i guess i'm still pretty much a movie-addict, and december is never a good time for addict like me! imagine december, being a festive season, every one just runs off to the theatre for some stupid movies, and those really sesaon movie thing, which means...arts movies are to be ignored in this festive season, really want to go see "wicker park" which is based on "the appartment"..but found out the moive had only been showing for one single week...
have already watched the followin in the theatre,
5 X 2 (maybe some find the story simple, but i really love tis one)
Bridget Jones: The Edge of reason (think the novel itself is more wonderful n witty plus touching than the film, but Renee Zelleweger, "darcy" and hugh grant do act well n it's really fun to spend two hours of not having your brain muscule work at all haha)
Clean (well, please no, my dear, please don't let Maggie Cheung sing for god's sake)
Phatom of the Opera (of course, it's not as great as the musical, the cinematic techniques employed is actually wonderful, am dwelling on the original novel which the musical and films have based upon, currently reading the english version and will get to read l'edition francaise sometime in the near future!)
and many more VCDs...including
Love Actually (watched it with my floormates, wonderful)
Memento (brilliant is the only word that i can say)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (revisited for i don't even recall how many times)
Spider (well....it's have a very boring start...)
lost in translation
and a tonnes more french and german movies which i decided not to list...or else...i will bore ya guys dead![]()
once my exams are over, well, as a matter of fact, being deprived of cinema for two months exactly, i cant help but drag myself to cinema every day...haha...it's been really a joy ahhahahahha
but the sad fact is...turned out many movies which i missed have not had its VCD released...so now i'm desperately waiting for the release of the followings...
Motorcycle Diaries/ Dogville/ De-lovely/ Bride and Prejudice/ The Miracle of Bern
and hope theatres in hong kong will show them in the very very near future:
Alexander; Alfie (well, who on earth can resist jude law?); Charlie and the Chocolate factory (TIM BURTON plus JOHNNY DEPP...what a wonderful combination); Closer; Finding neverland; Head in the clouds (wonderful plot happened in city i love); The interpreter; the love song for bobby long; Merchant of venice (with JOSEPH FIENNES); Sideways ...

some might say that the moive is simple enuv, there's not much plot to tell, but i really luv it
i luv it, not jst out of its style of direction
i just love that message, or just love the message I got from the movie, FOR MYSELF,
it's simple enough
when a relationship ends, perhaps we should try trace back what it happens right from the start, there must be something nice, something wonderful to remember, to trace

"And what's her history?
A blank, my lord. She never told her love---
But let concealment, like a worm i'the bud,
Feed on her damask cheek: she pin'd in thought:
And, with a green and yellow melancholy,
She sat like Patience on a monument,
Similing at grief. Was not this love indeed?
We men may say more, swear more; but, indeed,
Our shows are more than will, for still we prove
Much in our vows, but little in our love."
how true art thou words, shx!!!
