went ta another irish pub for the english premier league, man u vs arsenal, not particularly a good match, with standard, i will say...but it's better than stayin in ma residence with endless readings...so ma plan of workin hard...FAILS...whatever, who cares...
summer time starts...n i luv here so much, with the sun...till almost nine pm haha, that sun jst drags me out n enjoy in paris...luvly

been to VERSAILLES today, the place can be just that HUGE, n just that beautiful, n SO GRAND...how can ppl actually make that at that time??? ya can really see how the power exploit those without
paris can be so full of monuments, n ya always hav so many grand cheautux...is tis what those in power want? names? monuments? for ppl in the future just manage to continue tis prigrimage...jst want ppl remember how great they used to be?
it really makes one feel jolie good to stroll around these places tho

last Friday
been to Rue Mouffetard again tonite, for the dinner, then a drink with a friend, kinda nice chat bout life in sciences po, n everything, n da place is really nice
can the world be reduced into just two points? and only two points? thas what sciences po teaches us, seems difficult to get the gist of why there are only two points...n how ya can come up with a problematique when ya need to put up two points on both postive n negative side...and where can ya put your argument?
today, metro went on strike, but as i didnt hav class today, i cant really experience the pain it brings to ppl, but i guess tis what paris is, ppl, workers can be so organized under the union, n they can that ready to go on strike...amazin..thas not gonna happen in hk...really

watched a film called "silent room"...very inspiring...da ending song is kinda nice...with funny lyrics, it says, "silent is sexy" is that so?

been to sacre coeure, the place is jst sooooo soooo nice, esp in good weather like that, wind, together with warmth, bleezin to ya, n afternoon sun shinnin, not too light, jst fantastic, walk up da stairs to the butt, SO WONDERFUL...then i jst cant imagine maself rehearsing the scene of ameile, oh that is jst so great hahah, bad that ma camera doesnt quite work, so dun take much pics, da view from sacre coeure to the paris is so serene, despite da place is blocked with tourists n tourists, bumped inta a couple hk guys on da way up there to scare coeure, tis feeling is nice, meeting hk ppl in da foreign land...ha, alrite, then after actually stayin out da church to view paris..then we finally went inside ta da church, gosh THAT IS JUST SO AMAZING..actually havnt really been ta a church in paris much till now, cos thinkin there can be jst so many chances to go to church, should leave it when i am really broke haha, then anywaz, the church is so great, that hav a way for ya ta walk around the church, the flock of ppl there is actually like prilgrimage, continuous flow of ppl, anywaz, tis architecture is jst great, how come ppl can do things like that? there're hell lots of sculpture in there...then i actually spent a couple minutes there, sitting on da bench, saying prayers..havnt been tis since graduating from hi sch...feel so peaceful..
ya know what, one stupid thing is that, we actually take pics on the paris view..but forgot to take pics of the church itself!!! stupid enuv!!!! anywaz, so many chances in da future..
then after goin ta sacre coeure n stroll around montmarte, then i go on ta meet up a couple hk ppl fa coffee..disappointly starbucks hahah, not really..
cos i really cant imagine how come starbucks can survive in a long established coffee culture city like paris, they're jst that unmatch!!! ya dun really quite that they should be link together..as da phenomenon of "mcdonaldization" can tell, it's that familarity that they promise ya every where in da world, actually usually tourists hang out in starbucks, not really locals, then youngsters go there..ya dun feel that paris once ya in there, but they try to put da feelin of modernity there..one good service, or one good attempt is that they ask ya your name n put it down on da mug when they call upon ya ta pick ya coffee up. (gosh, i suddenly dun feel like how ta type with ma own notebook, after spending days before on da french keyboard!) anywaz, think tis really good..but not when they mis spell ya name haha...hav a real good chat on movies, music, musees, expositions there, so wonderful da chat, so meaningful...haha, nwaz, even thas in starbucks, ya dun really hav that luxury in hk to talk n chat in a coffee shop that often hahah, how can i not love paris haha?
we actually stayed there for like three hours or so, n feel like goin ta dinner..then it's mcdonalds...so disappointing haha, after we cant find QUICK in da walkable distance..tis ma second time in mcdonalds...mcdonalds in opera is quite nice place, when compare ta da one near the louvre..anywaz, there's ipod mini everywhere, doin da promotion...and da good thing is that they got "wi-fi" that is wireless lan" haha, da place is nice...n more chat haha on a lot more like life in paris..in sciences po..n that sorta thing haha, wonderful...i had a doublecheese burger which is smaller than that in hk, but costing me 2 euros...crazy...forget it nwaz
finally back home almost when it's 11...oh yes, da world is really that small, cos today met a hk guy who been ta da states, he actually knows ma hi sch friend..cos they go to da same sch in da states...haha, lovely...that reminds me of ma friend haha kinda miss her tim, better drop her a mail or what
THURSDAY: le 18 mars still got da sun, but getting more windy...n much cooler
alrite, dun wana talk bout da french class...which ma composition sucks..run out of vocabularies...yes, that is only predictable..when i almost got no french vocab at all haha, but i jst feel so nice after that...cos after feeling that depressed, decided ta cheer maself up by goin to pompidou, yes again..and i finally determine to get the very expensive pass...costing me 21 euros..haha, but good that i can get la carte photocopier, worth six euros...from bpi downstaris..makin it like spending only 15 euros for the card...when one exposition costs ya 7 already, n with da card, i can go to free movies screenin in pompidoy yeayeyayeyyayeyayeya...
yes, after getting da card, then i go to sixth floor for temp exposition again ahhahha, yes, thas JOAN MIRO...wonderful..lovely...amazing...so surreal...hahha, spend there from three to seven!!!! and feel like goin there again...haha, cos i feel so tired fa walkin for da last few pics, ya really cant really imagine there're so many ppl in there jst fa a thursday afternoon, there're always four to five ppl peepin one pic haha, tis feelin is so nice...ha especially there're eye candies as well...from da gallery, ya can actually hav da view of scare coeure..good
i actually go out fa a break during da miro exposition, n saw sunset in paris..on the sixth floor, in pompidou, that sun is jst rite next ta da tour eiffel..slowly gettin down..gosh..that is jst so BEAUTIFUL....n that ROMANTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the restaurant on da top floor is open air, then they actually got one rose for each table, puttin in a slender glass...that scene is so amazin...jst luv it so~

after having the french class, once again felt defeated, then felt like goin to HOTEL DES INVALIDES, duno why these days i hav so much luck, when i go out then the sun jst comes out...i feel so great, duno why i jst luv sun so much now, n whenever the sun is there out on da sky, i will go out for sure!!! n the thing is actually that these days, the weather reports always say it's cloudy, n all ma mates are greeted by rains instead hehe
anywaz, i been to Hotel Des Invalides, a place where soldiers during the Napoleon times go for prayer or treatment for the war...the place is grand, nice amaing, napoleon is really crazy, having tis mind to build so grand places!!!
after that, been to BOURSE, the place where paris stock exchange takes place, of cos i dun manage to get in, cos there's gotta be some appointment made, then i jst walked around the PLACE, (tis a french word, sth like a square in english)...feel so nice, n the french news agency building is rite next...
then as i dun feel quite well, bit headache, then i was liker rush back ma residence, n didnt manage to watch that ac milan match, pity tho...
ma goal is like make maself go out everyday to know paris more...in a more local way, then thas why i start getting off in any metro that i feel like to, n start wanderin the neighbourhood nearby, n it makes me feel so great, get to know about the life of parians, oh sometimes, ya really dun understand why, in paris parks, they dun let dogs in!!! but they can let dogs goin into shops, metro, n jst basically everywhere!!! it can be such a nusiance, n tell ya all that i'm not afraid of dogs now!!!
