簡歷:
At the age of 17, Billings, Montana native Hana Pestle traveled to Los Angeles to begin crafting her debut album. During the ten month long recording process, Hana spent two days in L.A. working on a handful of songs with strings arranged by David Campbell. Campbell, the biological father of musical genius Beck, has produced music for Alanis Morissette, Green Day, Michael Jackson, and Elton John.
Hana has not stopped touring since she graduated high school and turned eighteen. She spent the summer of 2008 with an opening slot on the Blues Traveler, Live, Collective Soul Tour. Since then, she has toured with Joshua Radin, Graham Colton, Ingram Hill and Jon McLaughlin.
The versatility of Hana's vocals stands out on her current E.P with the intense single "These Two Hands" and a cover of Leonard Cohen’s classic "Hallelujah." Hana will be able to tell more of her story on her full-length release due out next year. The album was produced by Ben Moody, co-founder of Evanescence, who has also produced for the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne and Celine Dion.
In addition to Ben Moody, Hana worked with Michael "Fish" Herring. Fish's credits include a world tour with multi platinum recording artist Christina Aguilera, where he had noted appearances on Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, MTV and the 2004 Grammy Awards among others. In recent years he has also appeared on records and tours for such artists as Prince, Tupac, Nas, Mariah Carey, LeAnn Rimes, and Siedah Garrett.
Citing influences that range from Radiohead and Sarah McLachlan to Incubus, Feist and Jack Johnson, it is clear that the eighteen year old singer/songwriter cannot be placed in one category. Although she lives in Los Angeles now, far away from her hometown of Billings, Hana explains, "I'm home wherever my guitar is."

2009年1月12日 上午3點20分09秒Hana Pestle's Need For New Moon
Hana Pestle is a self-proclaimed Twilight
fanatic. The nineteen year old singer/songwriter from Billings, Montana
believes she has the perfect song for the next movie and has started a
movement to get "Need"
in the forthcoming New Moon. The hauntingly beautiful track was one of
her first compositions written at only fifteen years old in 2004. It
was produced /co-written for her album by Ben Moody (co-founder of
Evanescence) and Michael "Fish" Herring with string arrangements by
David Campbell and piano performance by David Hodges (Kelly Clarkson,
Daughtry). Check out the "Need for New Moon" page to learn more about the mission and watch a personal video message from Hana.
Hana's E.P. is available now and her debut, full-length album is due out in July.
