• well, I'm attempting to make an artist community where we can network and share/show off. Its kindof based on an experience I had back in Utah where I lived in a studio apartment and many of my friends where artists.. As a result I ended up with alot of other peoples work in my possession (gifts and what not) I began puting it all up on the walls and it was kindof a dump so I was able to get away with decorating it in a very wacky fashion. Also I did murals on the floors over the delapitated vinyl etc. Other artists began to see the fun in what was happening and began wanting to leave their mark as well. soon I was host to a very large collection of random works and we had workshops which were mostly free range but also intended to help each other enter a new medium or work on improving a technique. Also I did shows at coffee houses and worked at a frame shop so I had a large amount of resources available to me. (such as supplies, experience and resources) As for the things I didn't have, others did like matte cutters for example. Now, many years later I have many of the supplies I once did not, but miss the unity of the group setting, as well as the insight that seeing a fresh idea gives. My hope is to start something similar but unique too.
  Also If you have seen my groups section, I'm working on a VW club because I'm passionate about it, and I like metal fab as an art medium.
