I did not even know Iran had poets and actors!

why ? u have low pieces of imformaition ... some of hollywood actress and actore are from Iran ,, its just alittle of informaition

Well I do not keep track of Hollyweird either, those nutjobs can not be trusted.
I admit I know very little about Iran. Then again why would I know much about life there?

yes I Know some information as Hafez (Persian: Khawaja Shamseddin Mohammad Hafez Shirazi) and Persia poet, is born between the years (1310-1337) about AD (727-792 AH) in Shiraz, Persia and is the most famous Persian poets and the poets Ioasf b poet , divans and poems found in the homes of most of the Iranians who read it and use it as such and the rule to this day. His poems and his life was the subject of much analysis and comments, which had a great impact on Persian poetry more than anyone else influence extended beyond the fourteenth century. The major themes of غزليات Shirazi was about love, celebration of wine, exposing the hypocrisy of those people who put themselves Koolia alia, wise, and examples of moral rectitude. Can be seen in the presence of life-Shirazi Eraninin through frequent use of his poems in popular music. The tomb is considered a rare piece of art of architecture of Iran and the destination to visit in some cases. And is one of the most important of his works of Hafiz, translated by John Payne.

Well, I normally listen Persian musics from Afghanistan and Iran. So I could write you whole list but not all are favorite ones.

My favorite is Gugoosh though.

yes, i like persian and know about shaikh sadi sherazi and his famous books gulistan and bostan. i also know about hafiz sherazi and aghai molavi.
i like persian songs also.
