We’d like to inform you that topics belonging in “News & Politics” and “Religion & Philosophy” forums would not be shown in our Hot Topics section. This rule has been applied across all our local sites for a few months already.
From our past experience, topics under these forums often lead to personal attacks and disruptive conversations. Zorpia is about helping people to make friends, we are not about religions or politics. We would like to dedicate our team effort in monitoring contents; we would not like to take position on any religious or political fights. Keeping these topics from showing in hot topics helps us reduce fights and control debates from progressing too fast before our administrators can review and attend to topics/comments in violation.
Zorpia aims to maintain a friendly and interactive atmosphere for making friends. Topics containing attacks and inflaming debates is not what Zorpia promotes. Zorpia have chosen its boundary and we hope you will respect our boundary.

if they keep doing that i would expect they would get TOS or the topics removed..........but i am not sure yet that Zorpia is aware of it yet......so thats why i am asking what the rules are, to make sure they are the same .....

Oh they claim is to prevent spamming, it does stop spamming at all, it is useless to put such limits to regular users....

I'll bring this up to the Head Admin's attention. Maybe they can do something about those people who are deliberately posting in wrong categories. We've had this rule a long time ago, so they should know. They're not new members either, so they can't say they're not aware of this.

What a stupid idea. The most interesting topics come from those forums. So what if a few people get a little bit personal over there, isn't that what the report button is for?
Maybe you should have took Love & Relationships off instead, all the "what is love?" topics are getting tedious...
