Your First RollerCoaster Ride ~~~~~~~~

@gypsymum, my first ever ride, is with my mom, woowwee..
its like a rush of adrenaline...excitement is there...it really enjoyable for the thrill seeker....

Your Mom is a brave woman, sounds like both of you had fun that day.
Do you remember what Coaster it was?

it was the first original coaster not like now with lots of hoops..
and i could still remember i rode with her in a horror train...well not fun for me coz i cover my eyes in every trip..lol memories coming to me that im a mama's girl than papa's girl...

I as not more than 9 or 10 years old and I got to ride that coaster in the clip with my Dad and an unlce who is dead now. The Cyclone starts in a dark tunnel and the cars rock right to left it makes you worry that you will fall out of the seat at the end of the tunnel. Then the light blinds you and you start to climb the first hill. . . . click . . . . .clank . . . .clang. . . . click . . . . .clank . . . .clang . . click . . . . .clank . . . .clang . . .until you have reached the top of the hill, then you can feel the color loose your face and you can not help yelling, screaming, and gasping!
The first hill is the big deal but the rest of the coaster is fun too. At the end yourback on the dark platform and happy to return back to your feet and walk under your own power.

That is a great memory I will always have fun sharing.

My first was at the Battersea Fun park in 1951 a fairground set up to celebrate the 1951 Festival of Britain. It was pretty tame compare to the ones I last went on in Alton Towers when I was a teacher (1980's) and took school kids for a day out, including the then famous Corkscrew!

my first coaster ride was the beast, at paramounts kings island in ohio, it was very fun fo r me at that young age, and ever since i've wanted (and have) rode every new coaster that comes out at cedar point (in ohio) the last two world record breaking coasters i've road within the first week of opening :D super fun!
