Are u a good son/daughter?!

Our parents had too much control on our lives when we were little.. but this was how most parents are like back then..
I try so much to give my kids right to make their own choices but within a certain limit.

me too, but sometimes i regret that they have thier own lives to take...ryt now im just giving much more on advise rather than nagging them...they should learn by thier own but im always on their back where they wanna want to go....good supporter, adviser and as well as their friends, yahooooo, hehehe!!!

we were raised very strict, many things we were not allowed to do like other kids. I don't hold it against her, she had to raise 3 kids on her own, and she did what felt she needed to do.

To this day, there is nothing I would not do for my mom. Just before Christmas, her car broke down, and a friend gave me this car, which I turned around and gave it to her as a present.

I don't like to see her stuck, her life has been so hard on her, and I am trying to make things as easy on her as I can.

that's very nice and thoughtful of you.. no matter what we do for our parents, I feel I could never repay them for what they did for me.. We owe our lives to them..

yeah, pretty much yemen, is nothing I would not do to make my mom's life easier.:)

and u know what duke im still dreaming of giving them somewhat a "CASTLE" , yeah just like i wanted them to be happy and proud even if sometimes am so naughty on them , .....but really i'm still thinking of what makes them happy even if we're miles apart...

That's a lovely thought Rose, but if I give my mom something like that, she wants something simple, she is old fashion, and a 2 bedroom house would be good for her.

Having a brand new home is one day I will try to get for her, even if I have to build it myself, and I can, just need money first.:)

I trusts my parents so much and i believe that they want the bests for me, i grow up and experience being scolded by my parents but it just made me to be a better a person , and i never felt my parents wants to manouever my life coz even when i was young they gave me the freedom to do what i want but with their guidance of course.

yeah, filifino culture and the way we grew up was too different from any other nation...when u scolded the kidos in other country, they have the right not to keep thier silence but instead they will call 911 or the police for some help...:D

My Mum and Dad are great. They're not too over-protective or controlling, but they still care.

I'd like to think i'm a good daughter.

Sometimes, no one can get along or agree all the time not even with their parents.
I was much closer to my Grandparents and now my parents and I have to activly work on getting along.

honestly speaking, i was not a good son but in this age i become a best son to them,:)

yeah..mostly our attitude and character are change if we are matured enough to realized our wrong doing..... twas great to know our mistakes and do some good things afterwards :D

Well I never got controlled by my parents but I didnt had a proper childhood as well cuz I was incarcerated on training 24/7 having practice b4(like 5:30am) and after school with a game during the week(this training camp was for the national team) then two other games on the weekend(for my city team) so at the age of 15 to 19 that is teh age of going out I couldnt cuz I had no time and when I had it ... I was tooo damn tired to go out lololol...

But having a life like this since my childhood was good ... it helped me developing faster cuz I lived without my parents, I had to do things by myself more often so it helped me getting more mature...

Now if I am a good son ... well I think I am ... I talk to my parents everyday(they dont live with me) I dont ask for nothing, I dont give them any problems... or worries ... so yh ... I think I am a reasonably good son :)

but u missed the world outside bcuz ur too busy, :P

nonetheless, hoperfully soon u will be a good father then to ur son, and u will gonna love them much more...

I dont plan to have childs or to get married... I love my freedom,,,

I missed alot of being with my friends ... but in those moments I could really see whom were my true friends ... the friends I still have today... even missing the world I learned to see it with my eyes ... with my perspective :)

as 4 my opinon.....u are to young to say that u dont wanna have some children and be married later on....yeah at ur age its the freedom twas at the choice ryt now.....but as u getting matured enough u will gonna miss half of ur life......for me, even ive got married and be a mother at a younger age i am much happier now rather than with my friends who where busy with their life b4 and stocked-up as a single one they said that if they could only turn back time even just one child they will be happy and fullfiled though...u know they realized that someday their friends got their own family and will leave their friendship, although they see each other once in a while but their priority is not their friends but their family as well....

enjoy your younger years iknow ur not rready yet..and when the ryt time for u to settle down....build a family of ur own.....its awsome.mostly when u gonna be a father and have a wonderful children....its a different feelings that i cannot explain as mother.....think of me when u get there.....hehehe...
