ZORPIA ANNOUNCEMENT: New Rule Against Trolling in Forums
Here in Zorpia, our topmost priority is giving our users the best possible online experience. We do not hesitate to make changes and additions to our features and rules if we feel there is a need and if we believe that it could benefit the community as a whole. In relation to this, we added a few sections to our Terms of Service (TOS) that includes TOS B-15 Trolling in response to reports against frequent offenders trolling on purpose to kill the flow of topic discussions in the forum. Zorpia decided to implement this new rule to make forum topic conversations more meaningful.
What is trolling? Our TOS states that:
Trolling includes controversial, irrelevant, unsubstantiated comments intended to annoy, antagonize, provoke other users into emotional response or disrupt the flow of topic discussion.
Which Forums Are Covered by The New Rule?
All forums are covered with the exception of the Attention Seekers and Rate Me Lunatics forum.
When will the new rule be implemented?
Zorpia will gradually enforce the new rule starting on November 2008. Trolling contents posted after November 2008 will be handled by our Forum Administrators.
What will our Forum Administrators do?
They will immediately remove posted contents that may be perceived as trolling including but not limited to topics replies, comments, images and homepages.
What to do when you see trolling posts?
If you see posts considered as trolling, please use our report links or you may send us a private message at admin account and we will review and take appropriate action based on your report as soon as we can.

I wish you luck on that, because there is always "aggressors " cutting in on topics and annoying the heck out of people.
there is one in particular that always get's away with it, and his 3 different accounts, not to mention a few more lately.
I hope this new rule is enforced severely!

Yeah,we all need rules.People must learn to know what to post and what not to in order to protect the good image of this site.Thanks very much.Now we will see all those that will abide by these rules and those that won't.I will suggest that those not adhering to these rules should be removed from the database system and should not be allow to register again.

Please do note that adobe software does tend to freeze my machine, including flash animation, particularly when there are twenty images flashing simultaneously. Also, it is not about whether it is merely adobe as author; any similar software is the issue.
I cannot put a lot of time into this webpage. I do need to reduce freeze &/or crash. Hey, as a matter of fact, even the advertizing on many of the other portions of this website does freeze my computer. This webpage is particularly hazardous.

You are violating the exact rule we are trying to explain in this topic. The point of this topic is to explain trolling is no longer accepted on Zorpia.

the ONLY thing about Zorpia that has made it more fun than any other social networking site for the past 2 1/2 years that I've been here is the FUN, RANDOM conversations that pop up in all topics. This is how we get to know each other and become friends. We cannot get to know each other by sticking to one topic per page. That idea is completely ASININE!!
one more reason I will be spending MUCH less time here, and if it hadn't renewed itself automatically before I figured out it would, I would NOT have renewed my royal membership
we can't reply to who we want to reply to, can't figure out who's replying to whom, and now we can't have a conversation unless it specifically pertains to the original subject... people who pushed for this rule, you have pretty much RUINED Zorpia, congratulations!

It's annoying to see all those haters but that's part of the freedom we get from being able to express and talk to basically about anything when we are in the forums. A discussion cannot be a real discussion if it is limited to a certain scope. And part of getting to know zorpians is being able to see them talk in the manner they so want, taking that away is like cutting off the window to which we can glimpse their personality and check out if it does coincide with ours.
