Zhejiang painter Mr Fang Qixia devotes to set painting creations
of places of interest for many years, searching for the unite of art
and tour. He successively created Southwest Romantic Feeling ,
Europe Scenery, Xuyu Scenery , Taining Big Gold Lake , Cixi Country
Feeling and so on, and received lots of admiration. In April and May,
2007, invited by Anhui Yellow Mountain scenic area management
committee, Mr Fang went to Yellow Mountain twice and created the
set painting, Yellow Mountain Scenery .

Fang Qixia, a professional artist from Cixi, Zhejiang Province, is good at scenery paintings in series. Fang is a member of China National Art & Crafts Society, China Promoting Art and Culture Associate, Zhejiang Artists’ Associate, and vice-chairman of Cixi Artists’ Associate. Fang learnt drawing form Lu Yifei and Sun Zhongqi, and was directed by Mr.He Shuifa. Since 1991, Fang traveled around China, and held his personal exhibition in December 1993. In 1995, his personal collective drawings was published by Liaoning Arts Press. Invited by France Artists Associate in April 1999, Fang reviewed and communicated with European counterparts in France, Germany, Italy and Austria. In December 2000, Fang Qixia’ Wash Paintings was exhibited in Japan. In the same year, Fang was awarded the bronze prize for 2000 World Chinese Artists Exhibition. Fang’ Paintings of Europe was published by the press of China Academy of Art. His painting was awarded the Excellent Works in 2002 The Fifth National Chinese Traditional Realistic Painting Exhibition, and hundreds of paintings were collected by people around the world. In 2003, Beijing Post published a series of post cards: Hundred Excellent Chinese Artists. In November 2004, China Stamp Collections Company published a series of stamps titled Collective Works of Fang Qixia ---- European Landscape. Fang’s works was collected in Zhejiang Art Collections of 50 Years in 2005. In April 2006, People Art Press published 7200 copies of Taining in Fang’s Painting. The National Postal Bureau publish 3,000,000 copies of New Year post cards based on Fang’s Chinese traditional painting. Furthermore, Fang’s has been reported by Xinhua News Agency, CPPCC newspaper, China Tourism, Fujian Daily, Outlook Weekly, Economic World, Arts, Zhejiang TV, Qiangjiang Evening News, China Arts News as well as Japanese, Russian, Philippine and Hong Kong media.
