wait a measly 20 seconds for the song to start - it's worth it, i swear

ah my hands are still a little sticky. that's because i just glued them together about oh 30 seconds ago. my brilliant mother borrowed my aunts cleaning thing while she's out of town, and she lured me into gluing it back together for the price of $10. sounds simple doesn't it? that super glue is no joke. don't let that dollar store mentality fool you - it really glues. my hands are quite disgusting now. after a layer of glue, there's another layer of lotion, followed by aloe vera, followed by different lotion. oh man, my hands are gonna be all slimy when i wash them now. oh how fantastic. this is one of the very few times i'm excited that skin sheds.

they [i dont exactly know who] put up these mysterious no parking signs all the way up my street. they say something along the lines of
"no temp parking unless movie car something something..." i dont know. it's only for tomorrow though, and i'm awfully tempted to stay home and watch the mystery unravel. er, maybe i'll just stop over home for a while before the meeting at 3:30.

anyways, tis the season of lent: surprisingly, i enjoy it. i think it's a great idea, to give up something you love. it really makes you appreciate all that you have, and makes you stronger knowing that you can live without it. mind you, i have never really kept a lent promise before, but this one's going to be different - i can feel it.

this lent i'm thankful for.............music, hot water, television, daydreaming, fast food, food in general, milkshakes, cars, jason mraz, anti-bacterial cream, mechanical pencils, scarves, toilets, bubbles, skate shoes, the fab five, cover songs, acoustic guitars, beds, weekends, hugs, crying babies, windex, the canucks, being 16, and of course, my giant family, my boring life, love and happiness

and with that, i'm off to church.

ah john mayer was mighty fabulous! good stuff. although from where we were sitting i coudln't really make out faces or nothing - had to resort to looking at the giant monitors, but really, what's the point in being at a concert for that? bought some overpriced merchandise - well, reasonably priced for official merch stuff. anywho, maroon 5 opened and they were awesome. now i need the maroon 5 and the room for squares john mayer! after the concert me grace, aviva, lauren, beatty, caitlin, sarah and karen went to mcdix for some food, and that was when things went bad. we walked for about 50 thousand miles through the shit part of granville, the vogue area, and basically walked from downtown vancouver across the fucking granville st. bridge to vancouver at 1 in the morning. not smart ladies. creepy guys were hitting on viva, lauren and karen and that was not cool. so minus the part where i basically walked home, the night was uh success.

school is bleh again. weekend was good! watched along came polly w/ grace and ate this brownie dessert that was so sweet, almost all my teeth fell out. saturday went to marcello's for dinner w/ karin and we ordered this italian "salad" which is actually 4 slices of tomatoes with whole mozzarella on top with capers all over. weird. went to the 208 ice cream flavour store! oh my that place is heaven....imagine if they had ice cream trucks like that! i tried the aloe vera and garlic, and that was nasty. made me lose my appetite for curry flavoured ice cream . rented thirteen and it's kinda creepy, only because i'm afraid of everything, but otherwise good.

it's so beautiful outside, i feel like i'm wasting it away in here
