ok i need to update this week has been crrrrazzzzzzy! ok well, first off sunday happened. i show up at work sunday morning with nicole and i tell her i quit. and then stupidly enough, i tell her something that kara told me in confidence about her. not like evil's so highly regarded in my books, but i told nicole that head office was thinking of fazing her out, and she got pretty pissed off. even when i told her kara wouldn't fire her she was still choked because she had the right to know. so then she quit. and no, no, it wasn' t ALL just because of me. she also hated the place like i did but felt obliged to stay during christmas...and then the day before her boss offered her more hours and better pay if she wanted it. so then she was gonna confront kara about the fazing out thing but then i begged her not to, even though she really wanted to. we were so freaked out that kara and megan would be super pissed at us for quitting on the same weekend, and so i was freaking out all week, stressing and feeling guilty since the store's falling apart. i've been waiting for today to call nicole (her last day of work) and ask her how it went. megan answered, and she told me what's been goin on: angela, our district manager, came by and asked what the hell is going on. then megan went out and told her everything; about how we hate her, she's irresponsible, she leaves in the middle of the day to do drugs etc. angela also said there was a secret shopper for kara, and she did pretty poorly. head office is on her ass now, and i think they're thinking of firing her after christmas season is over. ahhhhh, the smell of justice. now i'm totally free from the wigging out i was doing, and now i'm just...cool.
ahh, yesterday i went to this leadership conference at the hilton metropolis with charles, maggie, jocelyn, grace, sim, and mrs.d-b. we waited at the skytrain for 20 mins and then got lost before arriving. it was pretty decent: these super cool brazilian dancing/music guys were there. they were called asha somethingorother, but they were insanely good. plus they were ripped 
. anyways, i met the most annoying girl in my life there. goodness i wanted to punch her in the face. and she kept complaining about how we used big words like segregation and body image. *deep breaths*
after me and jocelyn left early, because jocelyn was deathly sick and i needed to go back for a badminton game. again, we got lost and it took us 2 hours to get home. we had our badminton backdoor provincial games at palmer yesterday. there were 2 games going on at the same time, and we killed handsworth and had to wait for like an hour before the other game finished. finally we ended up playing prince of wales. it was such a monumental moment, because it was the first time i really busted my ass. they were actually competitors that were pretty much at the same level, and i have oh-so-many bruises, and i still can't make too many sudden movements at once. 
so stiff...anyways, we lost 6-5. bummer. i was pretty surprised, but nothing we can do about it. season's over. besides, we're too cool for provincials anyways 
so anyways that was my last couple of days. tomorrow's my last day of work! woot woot! since i like having pictures, and i dont have any i have to leave you with this lame ass one:

this weekend is already so tiring and it's only 6:30 on a saturday night. nonetheless to also say i'm sitting here on my computer typing away. i basically spent the day lounging around the airport with kim, al, meesa and kevin. i just came back from dropping my mom off to the airport. i miss her she's going to mauritius for 2 and a half weeks to visit her mom and the rest of her family. i don't know how i'm going to fend for myself. i know it's only two weeks but...still finding it hard to smile right now. i'm so damn weak.
yesterday they had a little family shindig for me. it was pretty bad because i still had to work yesterday too! but i got out at 7:30 (because my mom yelled). and then i checked out the december schedule...they wanted me to work fuckin 30 hours a week! so i was like, "hey i can't do this." and since me and nicole can't work that much...basically, one of us has to go. so i was like, since i'm leaving in january and i've been bitching so much about having to work in december, i'm gone. so just like that, i quit. yeah it kinda took me by surprise, because i like to plan things out very thoroughly, and i had to make a decision to quit right there and then. but she's such a crackhead, i don't know if she fully realizes what this means; i'm only working til the 5th, she has to hire two new people now, and that they need time to work as well. weirdness. and the funny thing is nicole is quitting in january too. hahahaha. ok whatever. then i went home, we had dinner, it was nice and small. my tummy hurts i'm already finding it hard to stay awake but...i'll manage.

ohh my good gracious. the mraz concert was phenomenal. amazing. beautiful. inspiring. MRAZmerizing. pure. full. soulful. entertaining.vibrant. powerful. l-l-l-lovely. sweet. he was so incredibly brilliant i can't even describe how great it was. friday night i went with viva and kaitlin and we got there around 6, (doors open at 6:30) and the line was like, around the corner. (and they thought no one would be there!) while we were waiting in line, this bum kept going up and down the lineup asking for 10 cents. i can't believe no one gave him 10 cents. kaitlin was about to taser him, and then me when i was about to give him the 10 cents. i mean, if that would make him go away of course. the vogue is a pretty small venue, gateway-ish, and we were kinda far back, just underneath the balcony. the opening act was good, robbie wilson, he looked like richie wilcox from canadian idol.
and then viva's friend karen came up screaming at us that she saw tudgeman from the lizzie mcguire show. i have no idea who this was, so i had to look him up:
she could've just said ezra from higher ground! lol. anyways, jason kept everything creative and interesting, did something different for every one of his songs, and even though he was sick he still managed to put on a great show. now i made viva and kaitlin obsessed like the girl in bend it like beckham. muahaha. anyways, i'll try and get some pictures up soon after i get my ghetto film developed. and then toca the congo drummer looks like mr.T
anyways, my grandma's sick so my mom's going back to Mauritius this saturday. i don't know how i can survive without her for two weeks, the rest of us here are pretty useless on our own. it'll be like home alone...except we're not alone because there's still four of us. we're having my little family birthday this friday night then, which sux ass because i have to work, but i'm gonna try and get out early and blackmail evil because she ditched me on saturday to snort crack. anyways, i have to actually do some work now.

bleh today went to metro then "worked" on our french project with rach, farrukh and janice. it was so useless. i almost stepped on rachel's fat rabbit and then we did wall sit, and i embarrassed myself by showing how incredibly out of shape i am. my legs are still burning from everyone sitting on me. bahaha, janice is freaking hilarious.
ahhh i'm so in love with this movie love actually. i saw it on saturday night - i think it's a mucho aquired taste thing because, at the very beginning it was pretty slow and sucky, but then i convinced myself that it would get better, and it did. then as each passing moment since then, i have grown fonder and fonder of it. it was such a sweet movie, except for the story line of the shy porn stars (one of 9 relationships within the movie). british movies are so smart. they always have a million different stories going on at the beginning, and it's so slow and doesn't make any sense at all, but then by the end of the movie, all the characters come together in a way that makes sense and it's just plain brilliant. ahh, my favourite storyline is the father and son
and thomas sangster is so freakin cute! omg the best part of the movie is when he was being chased by the entire airport security just to tell joanna he loves her. awww. anyways i was suppose to go to the ubc game that night, and i wanted to because they were playing uvic and i heard it was a big deal, and of course since uvic is my future school. but bleh...anyways, i'm glad though because if i went to the game i would've been home later, but since i went to the movie i came home earlier and i went online and was wandering on people's xangas and i found out that...
