haha, how contradictory is that statement. sidenote: it's not work that makes amanda a dull girl. blah. i hate work. worked on thursday with nicole, friday w/ psycho but i sent her home early because i was sick of her. i worked at my uncle's office all day today, and tomorrow i have to work all day again! how exciting. i came home and watched
the breakfast club
i'm determined to watch all of john hughes movies, because they are just too awesome. that girl on the left is such a crazy, muahaha. and emilio estevez is in it! i watched it on tv, but it sucked because they changed all the cussing to words like, "baloney" and "go eat sludge" and i couldn't make out what the real words were. damn.
we had friday off (woohoo?) had to go to the library and figure out some broadcasting stuff. then went to the mall with chris and grace and watched matchstick men. it was very....deceptive. and then we discreetly walked past work and the guy with the head claw several times.
oh and one thing. this is my question of the day: what is the difference between affect and effect?
i've looked it up twice. i don't get it.

woohoo, the wedding was fabbbulous. from alex's routine to brian's infamous "i'm too sexy" striptease, it was tons of fun. i'll probably have pictures up MUCH later because i'm old school and don't have a digital camera and only have 9 pictures in my film. anyways, me and melissa were sitting at the kiddy table, and i had secret humiliation and shame for melissa for sitting at the kiddy table when she was in univ., but then gavin ordered a wine and admitted to us he was 20, so the shame was passed on. my brother was being more social than me by talking to everyone at the wedding, little bastard. then this stupid annoying kid was sitting at our table, and, as i pledged my allegiance to my blogring i threatened to hit him in the face when he kept messing around with the food. then we danced like the biggest retards i have ever seen. omg, alex, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU. you will never live that down. i met shawn and his brother steven, but steven passed out from the scotch, so it was just shawn. kim's friends came and it was hillarious how depressingly bad we were. brian did a little striptease, and when av came over, started chasing her around. she was afraid, because, EW, i think they're related. i don't know, maybe. clinton attempted to do this pathetic break dancing thing, but it was just...uh.. anyways, it was lotttttttttttttttts of fun, can't wait for claire's next month!!!

yay! i hooked up my new scanner/printer all by myself yesterday! uh, i don't think it works properly, but it's all good. shows how much everyone in this house cares if i break my back trying to switch the printers around. ew, and someone was eating something in my room and they left this bowl on my desk, and i can't help but stare at the brown gushy stuff stuck between the ridges of the fork...eurghhh

ok, i turned off the bloody music. everytime i always come with the intentions of turning it off, but then i get hooked on the scats and i just can't stop!!! but i quit. for now. even though that tune has been playing for MONTHS. now i'm onto this liz phair stuff. although she's a little skanky in the picture, and you never really get a clear glimpse of her face (is she that ugly?) she seems tara mclean-esque.
i'm sick :[ it's making me crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy. i threw my racquet at vincent and zaheed during practice. maybe it was sub-conscious.

obviously i'm obsessed with this cd, as you can listen to this song is playing constantly. i'll only leave it on for a little bit...haha, thanks to cut_w_the_e for helping me with the settings haha.
anyways, the stupid evil consellors finally unfucked my schedule. i have no idea why i would put it up, but for all those hopeful stalkers out there...here's your chance!

anyyyyyyyyyyways, so i've just spent the last day and a half looking for miguel's tape (uh, don't tell him). he lent it to me on yearbook day, and i watched his airband tape...haha, it's pretty good, it's super long though because he put in all this extra stuff. i wanted to watch it again today but...no. i finally found it in the big green locker at 4:37! no thanks to anyone in this stupid house. and then i rewarded myself by watching an episode of "ready or not," *gasp* the one where chrissy makes amanda steals this ugly sweater for her to get in with the chinese country club girl.
anyways, i finished my lit homework, even though i didn't attend class yet. uh, that beowulf stuff is so not fun. it's actual work and stuff...geez, i mean, english use to be so remedial...what's changed?
badminton tryouts tomorrow! yay! haha, at least it's better than v-ball which is now 8-12. wow, they got screwed over.
