What is the difference in one mother's sorrow from another?
Why can't I go to prayer at Al-Aqsa??
Why can't I build a temple there?
Can I not lose my soul in loving the call to prayer because I am Catholic??
One place sacred to so many,
begets a burial for all.

What is the value of a life????
The sacred becomes profane.
Laundry hangs over the Dome of the Rock.
The Wailing Wall is falling.
sensitive & noble
bitter & shameful
There are NO winners in war.
One loss versus one hundred.... all are losers.
What God teaches genocide???
Only the darkness smiles at our pain.
We are drowning in blood...turned to tears.
What anguish makes a father's heart torn
when he counts the pieces of his son?
Would my eyes be blind to walk those streets!!!
Would I stop my heart to live one more day!!
Would time return and erase this land....
banish all this hardened black hate.
The golden key to the gates of hell.
Would you sell your soul to make a point that no one hears...
answered by more screams?

I see death in their eyes
a soul buried in bitterness.
I see denial in their eyes
choosing, in desperation, a path they know is wrong.
I see stubbornness in their eyes
trying wildly to make a point.
I see joy in their eyes
dying screams given finally a voice.
HEAR ME!!
HEAR ME!!!!!!
But.. who really listens to a stubborn man gone mad?
Who listens to the ignorant that are deaf to reason?
Who will listen to the dead?
Spiralling further and further into depthless hopelessness.
Perpetuating irrationality
Perpetuating ignorance
Perpetuating death.
What point can be made in madness??
You lose your message
when you lose your soul.
