I've been a member of zorpia ever since it practically started. I loved it, and I made a lot of new friends. I stop logging in when it stopped people from using scripts. And you can only do so if you pay!!! Other sites don't do that. And if this is all business, don't they get paid for letting other web companies advertise on this site!?! Jeff should cut us original members some slack. I was just trying to change my background and it won't let me unless I become a "royal member". I edited my page with scripts, and the only way I could change something - without paying a cent - is to pretty much delete everything and start from scratch! I like what I did to my page. It sucks that they have to do this. Other sites like myspace, friendster and facebook don't charge for nothing. And I bet you they're doing fine because of all the advertisement every time you freakin' open your profile. This really sucks!!!

i have absolutely no idea how many times i've edited this journal!! *sigh* anyway, being a big fan of ANGELINA JOLIE, i tried to be calm and just finish this.

i considered angelina as one of the most beautiful people God has ever created! perfect lips, eyes, nose - the whole face, the entire package. ok, im more straight than the edge of a ruler could be, but i would definitely go gay for her! oops! i never really wanted to share that, but hey, im not the only one, right!?! (good thing my boyfriend knows about this! hehe.) the girl can kick ass! with a matching face and body, who could resist. even being beaten by her is an honor! ahihihihi. ok, enough talk. just watch the trailer.

I was really shocked to know Doug Christie is not gonna be playin' for the Sacramento Kings anymore! At first, I don't want to believe it because how could the Maloofs trade him right in the middle of the season. And the fact that it's Doug Christie!!! He provides the best defense on the team! Named to the NBA All-Defensive First or Second Team for four consecutive seasons, Doug has played an integral role in the Kings’ recent success over the past six seasons. He has ranked among the NBA’s top five in steals in seven of the last eight seasons and is the only player to rank in the top five in each of the past four campaigns.

It's pretty much a shock to every Kings' fans to find out D.C. did not play against the Nuggets yesterday, and an even more shocking is to know he wont be playing anymore for the Kings. But for me, Doug Christie will always be the king of Kings!!!

Letting go...

In many failed relationships, separation comes as the inevitable choice but moving on
always prove to be as twice as difficult as letting go. Sometimes, the end of a relationship is imposed on us, but our choice to hold on is always beyond the control of circumstance. Letting go is a decision that can never be dictated on us. It is a resolve we make ourselves.

Many however, remain and hold on to the empty promise of a memorya past that is gone forever and vows that may never be fulfilled. We choose to live in the shadow of someone we still love, someone who only used to love us. We refuse to turn the pages of our lives so we can relish the beautiful memories we've had. Yes, there is closure, but not the past but of the heart. We will never grow with bitterness and wishful yearning. Life can move on only if we open our hearts and give ourselves a chance to find love again.

Acceptance is the key to a new beginning and time is the healer of old wounds. Even if the storm casts its fearful shadow, there will always be light after our darkest and loneliest moments. There is always hope for those who believe. There is always a chance for those who try.

And remember, there is always be a life even after losing love. That life may even be better than before. For all our pain & suffering come with a purpose. They are meant not to discourage us but to make us stronger & better!

So to my Bebe, thank you is not enough for the unconditional love you have shown me. I've always found myself in you. I'm glad that I get to be myself whenever I'm with you. You're an angel given to me by God to watch over me and take care and love and understand. From the bottom of my heart, thank you... You will always be a part of me... my heart and my soul.

i just uploaded 2 new albums. both involving enormous christmas trees! wahahahaha! nwei, tnx to our aunt rhea, we were able to leave the house and go shopping in SF! woohoo!!! victoria secret was on sale! and then we went to pier 39 - crab house. actually, it was the only restaurant open that time so we have no choice! hehe. we got caught up shopping we didnt notice all the stores were already closing. well, we got in SF kinda lately anyway, but it was ok. i love the slopes! wahahaha!

and in downtown sac (which by the way, went there first) was hella cold!!! bbrrrrr... my aunt and my mom, again, went shopping. but heck, they just took advantage of the holiday sale! hehe. too bad i dont have any money! i could have gone on a shopping spree myself!

can't wait for the third installment to the adopted marvel story of a half human, half vampire vigilante who's out to kill the creatures that created him. i loved the first two, so i expect much from this one. although i read some reviews about blade trinity and most of them said that the "movie was more comedy-based rather than the typical expected action flick," i'll still watch this on the big screen rather than wait for it to come out on dvd. (i do that whenever i like the movie but dont wanna bother watchin' it on the theatres) and what i like most about this movie (aside from the fact that wesley snipes has done it again! woo-hoo!) is that jessica biel's (yes, u read it right! ms. mary campden of 7th heaven! huh?!!!) character name is - Abigail!!! hehe. she is abraham whistler's daughter (blade's mentor). but jessica's acting is not that convincing. they say she's "nice to look at" and even referred to as a "hottie" but shooting arrows at 300fps (paintball gun speeds! ooh!) and taking long ponderous showers to wash off blood doesn't make for character building. She doesn't even mourn the loss of her father...(yup!, older whistler died! after all those rescuing done on the 2nd part...) but man, does she love iTunes. i've seen a couple more trailers and teasers aside from this one i've posted, and i kinda agree w/ those critics on biel's performance. the martial arts movements and acting and arrow-shooting were kinda sloppy! she moves hecka slow! but heck! i still like jessica! her face, nice body and well toned arms and abs, and of course, the tight ass! (so envy right now!!!)

and then there's Hannibal King played by Ryan Reynolds (rememver him? Mr. Van Wilder!?!). Hannibal's cool, has an interesting story that could have been developed (used to be a vampire, turned back, now hunts them) but was played mostly for comedy which kills the pace, especially in an interrogation scene that just pulls you out of the film completely.

these Nightstalkers are just amateurs to Blade. u can even see it on Snipes' acting. no doubt Wesley Snipes has proven again his martial arts-vampire slaying moves. but the new crew has yet to prove theirs. oh well, im not gonna spoil the fun. we'll just see if Blade: Trinity can live up to much of people's expectation!

my apologies for not responding to the people who've been leaving me messages and comments here in zorpia. i've been really busy this weekend (as i have told most of u guys). been cleaning the whole house (for real!!! aaaaaaahhhh!!!), looking for a job and started decorating the house for christmas. seems a little early for some people, but for most of us filipinos, we decorate our cribs for christmas really early! i dont know... i guess we just love seeing christmas trees and laterns and lights and everything red and green! hehe so that pretty much occupied my time. well, im glad i get to open my zorpia accnt again. and i am really happy that u guys left me a couple of comments to read. tnx!

woohoo!!! (so much emotion right now, so much excitement!!!) i finally got my driver's license!!! aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! about 1:20 pm, i had my driving test. nerves were just killing me! my left leg was shaking! really! but i pulled through and i thank God for guiding my hands, feet and eyes. and thank God the examiner's in a good mood! woohoo!!! this one's for u my bebe! happy anniversary!!! u're my goodluck charm! i love u and i miss u so much! oh well, i'll better look for a car...and a job on line now! ahihihihi!!! woohoo!!!

"The Incredibles" is the sixth film from Pixar, a studio that is redefining the movie business with every new movie they produce. This one is about Bob (voiced by an authoritative yet good-natured Craig T. Nelson) and Helen (a warm-hearted Holly Hunter) Parr, a suburban couple with a big secret. The two used to be superheroes but have now been forced out by citizen lawsuits brought on by injuries suffered during their saving. The superhero relocation program has given them a nice suburban house to raise a family in, but the scene is far from perfect.

Bob is unhappy. He has grown fat, he works at a dreary insurance office all day in a tiny little cubicle, and his boss (perfectly voiced by Wallace Shawn) is a little twerp who sees Bob's kind generosity as a threat to the company. Helen is far from better, but she keeps a good face. Her dream is to raise a family and she is willing to put her calling as a superhero behind her in order to do it. Only her biggest obstacle now is having to stop the kids from strangling one another. They are Violet (Sarah Vowell) and Dash (Spencer Fox), and they have powers as well. Violet can turn invisible and also create force fields. Dash can run at super speeds. Only these powers have prevented them from living normal lives. Violet is a shy outcast and Dash is prohibited by Helen from trying out for sports at the risk of having his power discovered.

Much like Spider-Man 2, this is a film about the moral responsibility of superheroes, and whether or not they can even live as average people. This is a question that director Brad Bird poses in these early scenes, and the result is often very funny and emotionally real. Bob, for instance, is so unhappy that he lies to his wife every week to go out with his pal Frozone (excellent Samuel L. Jackson) and listen to the police scanner. He knows his calling, and so when he is brought back into the game by an anonymous investor, he couldn't be more thrilled. Only what he doesn't know is that it is a trap set up by the super villain, Syndrome (voiced with full obnoxiousness by Jason Lee). Syndrome is the former head of the "Mr Incredible fan club" who now wants to see all super heroes destroyed because they never let him be one. This brings Helen out of retirement, and soon her and the kids are off to save Bob.

The Incredibles will undoubtedly be called a kid’s film because it's animated, but this movie tries to change that way of thinking. What Bird sets out to prove here is that animation can also be a medium for other things, like action movies, and he has created one of the coolest and most spectacular ones of the year. Whether the characters have super strength, super speed, elastic arms, the ability to turn water to ice, or the ability to create force fields, Bird sees the promise in all of them and gives them some of the most riveting and stylized chase sequences and fights you're ever likely to see. These are the kinds of things you can only do with animation, and it is a joy and a thrill to see that this kind of imagination now has an outlet.

This is a family film however, one that participates in the Pixar trend of blending life lessons with beautiful looking entertainment. Bird eventually gets to a very touching stage where family trust, understanding, and protection become more important than any powers that they may have. One really fantastic scene in particular has Helen explain to her young and innocent kids the difference between the villains they see in the cartoons and the villains they are facing in real life. The great part about these characters is that without unity, they're nothing. It's Edna Mode, the short fashion designer, who steals the entire movie though. Whether introducing her new line of super hero costumes or talking about the hazards of capes, this character is hilarious.

The Incredibles is the cure for the common movie. This movie has more amazing action, adventure, humor, and character depth than any movie in the theaters right now. It continues in the great construct of the Pixar animation studio to turn out gem after gem. When talking about the incredible, "The Incredibles" is just that.

my brothers, sister and bf, and i saw "The Incredibles" last sunday. It was all worth it! the long line, the EXPENSIVE ticket. i totally recommend this movie to everyone - young, old, young at heart! hehe. Pixar has done it again! the graphics were just off the hook! and Edna "E" Mode was my favorite character! she's funny and tiny! hehe.and she got class, super attitude and excellent taste! she can fuse the latest technology with her impeccable fashion sense. Go E!
