A Summary of Dine-Out Vancouver:

(did not try one restaurant per day for the two-week as planned)

1/ Capones - not extremely special... but live music! atmosphere okay la. (**)

2/ Cannery - jiang!! i like the lobster oil so much!! almost bought a bottle home! the food is good (since we didn't order from the dine-out menu) and environment and view, super nice!! on the way there was like an advanture! (*****)

3/ StoneGrill - stone-grill loh... as simple as that. interesting! my salmon was good. beef was okay, seafood was small in size. don't get how to cook perfectly on it yet. eat slowly... the later pieces will be over-cooked. eat too quickly... no feel! regular menu is not too expensive, gonna go again later (-> ) (***)

4/ Cloud 9 - once again, eat view. the food itself is... er... um... yah... eatable ge. the view of downtown vancouver is the main point! but how come it rains every time i go? (***)

5/ Griffin's - inside Hotel Vancouver, the hotel is nice and elegant itself. but the restaurant is not to my expectation. got a corner seat, BOO! extra $10 for appetizer buffet with seafood like smoke salmon, crab, mussels, salad, soup and everything good! i like it better than the steak. then dessert buffet, since i was full already, didn't have too much but a few pieces of cake jek ma.  (****)

Restaurants needed to be tried:

Gothams, Lumiere, Feenie's, Rancity Grill, Fraser Valley, Il Giardino, Al Porto Ristorante, Aqua Riva, William Tell, Five Sail Restaurant, CinCin, Circolo, Marinaside etc.

just got back from Vivian's "surprise farewell party". had some fun over there, eating outdoor is cool neh~ haha. anyway, ho ng sei duk vivian ah. Have a Bright Future in HK ba~!! we'll always miss ya...

new talent singing contest @ vancouver [sun sau] today, i helped out with the stage audio~ assisting the soundman to turn on and off the buttons for audio on the sound control panel, wow, see my importance? if i don't tell the gwai lo when to mute/unmute the mics, haha~ guess what would happen in the show?

although i sat on the stool for 3 hours straight... *yup complaining about sitting too much while others didn't even get a chair to sit on* it was a cool experience neh~ especially listening to the 'high level' ppl's conversations through the ...
