When we're making a gift , we should aim to give without strings.If we say, Take this......

*provided you appreciate IT

*provided you appreciate ME

*provided you do with it what I want to do with it

*provided I GET SOMETHING in return

*provided you feel guilty ......then we're not giving at all. We're EXCHANGING.

GIVING is not a matter of EXCHANGING. When you give, you Give.

You give someone a present because you want him or her to have it.

You give it because you want to give it.

If you don't want to give anything , that's perfectly OK, too.

Make your choice.If you want to do it, do it. If you don't , don't. Leave out the sacrifice talk.

Let the person be grateful_ don't make him or her feel guilty.
