I have a list of folks I know... all written in a book, And every now and then... I go and take a look. That is when I realize these names...they are a part, not of the book they're written in... but taken from the heart. For each Name stands for someone... who has crossed my path sometime, and in that meeting they have become... the reason and the rhyme Although it sounds fantastic... for me to make this claim, I really am composed... of each remembered name. Although you're not aware... of any special link, just knowing you, has shaped my life... more than you could think. So please don't think my greeting... as just a mere routine, your name was not... forgotten in between. For when I send a greeting... that is addressed to you, it is because you're on the list... of folks I'm indebted to. So whether I have known you... for many days or few, in some ways you have a part... in shaping things I do. I am but a total... of many folks I've met, you are a friend I would prefer... never to forget. Thank you for being my friend!

The soul of the wind blowin in the trees
Calls up memories buried deep in me
Wolf song, Eagle flight, home fire burning bright
Hoot of Owl in the night

People I've met, places I've seen
Rolling hills full of green

Waken the Spirit sleeping, blind

I hear the ancient voices calling
Feel the Spirit rising, falling
Sister Sun, Brother Moon,
Mother Earth all in tune
Giving strength, saying

It speaks to me of days gone by
Sometimes it makes me want to cry
For Eagle, Wolf, hill and streams
For all the people of my dreams
Who listen to the wind
Just listen to the wind.
The Wheel.
The winds blow the words of the Elders
To ears that no longer hear
The sky holds the shadow of Eagles
For eyes that no longer see
The thundering herds cross the prairies
But the People no longer feel
And the Heart of a nation is dying
For so many have forgotten the Wheel.

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts, or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will search for answers. I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain, nor the future with its untold stories. But I can be there now when you need me to care. I can't keep your feet from stumbling. I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall. Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine; Yet I can share in your laughter. Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge; I can only support you, encourage you, and help you when you ask. I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship from your values, from me. I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you. I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you, But I can give you the room to change, room to grow, room to be yourself. I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting, But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces and put them back in place. I can't tell you who you are. I can only love you and be your friend.
