Funny how you can meet such seemingly nice people online ,
in life friends do come and go and you wonder if there is such a thing as a best friend.
I know there are also some weird people whom surf the net ,
but so far the few friends I have met are kind and caring and I hope these fiendships never end.




The friends I have made through this site seem to be such true friends ,
I feel that they will always be there for me.
I hope they know too that I wil always be here for them ,
its a shame that the miles are between us and that meeting up for a coffee and a natter may never be.

But I still feel blessed all the same to have made such friends ,
for I know that they are just an e mail away.
Weather I am feeling happy or sad at any given time ,
they are there and always brighten up my day.

Send a message, sit and wait
Cursor blinks, a constant pace
Reply received, a point and smile
Send one back, it's worth awhile
Through distance and resistance
Through loops and bends
A connection is made
To a friend





Morality and dignity,
it seems , have become of lesser concern
in a great number of the populations
Decision-making strategies ,in today;s society.
I know this because I see it everyday.
We all do. We all know there are those
willing to subject carelessly
another;s foundation to strengthen their own
(hypothetically speaking, of course.).
And it happens so often we don't respect
enough those who are morally driven.
So to (THE TRUE FRIEND) whom chooses to honor ,
up hold the values of morality ,
and to maintain their sense of self
in a situation where one could easily turn away
leaving the blame for another yet, does not. Thank you for being a true friend.

Scary, eerie, horrifying, fright,

Getting scares from our Halloween hosts.

Popcorn balls and candy peaches,
All we hear are screams and screeches,
Candy bags are full of sweets,
The people give out lots of treats.

There's a haunted house on Willow street,
Who knows what vengeful ghouls we'll meet,
I hope your Halloween is lots of fun,
The fright of the night has only just begun.

Online Friendship

It was at random that we met,
A chance that not many get.
When I heard the "Uh Oh",
How was I to know!
That you would turn out to be my special friend,
Someone who could be there,
Until the end.

No matter how I feel or what I do,
I know, in my heart,
That I can count on you.

I've never seen you,
Heard you, or touched you.
Those kind of chances are very few.



To meet someone from far away,
Never knowing if they're here to stay,
Not knowing if what they say is true,
Of what they're doing and telling you.

So far away, but yet so near,
The "not knowing" is the fear.
Is it truth, or is it a lie?
Will a heart grow, or will it die?
Either way, the bonds of friendships strings are tied.

One's needs are met,
Some with regret.
Some with hope,
Some with pain.
But still, the answer is plain.




If we hadn't met,
On that very day,
Things would be different
In every way.

The emptiness may be filled,
A life may start to rebuild.
A heart may be broken,
Or made to mend;
All because of that
