I went to the Lord's clinic
To have my routine check up
And it confirmed , i was ill
When Jesus took my blood pressure
He saw I was low in tenderness
When He read my temperature
The thermometer read 40 degrees of anxiety
He ran en electrocaediogram
and found that I needed several "love by-passes".........
since my arteries were blocked with loneliness
and could not provide for an empty heart
I went to Orthopediics because I could not
walk by my brother's side, and i could not
hug my friends, since I had frectured myself
when tripping with envy.............
He also found I was short sighted
since I could not see beyond
the shortcomings of my brothers and sisters



When I compleined about deafness
The diagnosis was that I had stopped
listening to the Lord's voice talking to me
on a daily basis...for all that He has given me

So to all this Jesus gave me
A free consultation, thanks to His mercyfulness
So my pledge is to once I leave this clinic
I will only take natural remedies
He prescribed through his words of truth
the recipe which i will publish tomorrow

The dew lies longer
the breeze reddens noses

The deer linger less
as opening day nears
and turkeys take flight
on the winds of fear

The nuts on the ground
are stolen much quicker
for late night snacks
in the cold of mid-winter

the trees drop their leaves
and corn stalks turn brown.
The canning is done
for the season's abound

The smells of fresh pies
reach across the yard,
yet, winter is coming..
will it be hard?

Since we can't foretell
of the first snowfall,
the groundhog just waits..
to end it all.
