In a phenomenal turn from the typical make-you-laugh content of YouTube, one video set out to make the world take a moment to stop and think about the fact that we all belong to "One World." The response to this message came in the form of a video titled "The Message." A masked character started posting videos on YouTube on April 11th 2006. He is know only as MadV and dons a mask, a prop from the movie/comics V for Vendetta. He has only posted 14 videos since his account on YouTube was opened. His usual videos consist of magic and illusions set to groovy tunes. He plays to his audience and had gathered quite a following before he posted a certain video that he is now literally famous for. He posted a 40 second video containing him wearing his usual attire of the V for Vendetta mask and a grey hoodie. He wrote the words, "One World" on his hand and basically asked his viewers to respond to the video in anyway they wanted, by text comment or by video response.

THE INVITATION This simple act sparked an entire social network of thousands to respond by sending their own videos into him of them writing messages on their own arms , hands, and so on.... THE MESSAGE WAS SILENT THE RESPONSE WAS DEAFENING....
