If you think you know how much you mean to me, you don’t

If you think you can guess how much I love, you can’t

If you come to the conclusion that my feelings for you will never change, you’re wrong

Everyday, you mean something different to me

Sometimes it is something good Sometimes it is something not so good

But it is never anything that will bring us to an end

Everyday, the meaning of our love changes

Sometimes for the better Sometimes for the worse

But it never is ending

Everyday, my feelings for you change

Sometimes in a positive way Sometimes in a negative way

But never in such a way as to drive us apart

The reason you cannot put a value to the three items above is because they are ever changing

There is never a day that goes by that you mean the same to me as the day before

There is never a day that my heart feels the same for you as it did yesterday

There is never a time that my feelings stay the same

These are not negative things meaning I care for you less

They are simply things one cannot predict, nor can one control

I can say that to me your meaning, my love, and my feelings are always on my mind and in my heart

We are the ones who control the daily changes between positive and negative And it is up to us to ensure that most days are positive days

But keep in mind that once the sun has set that day can never be changed

So think wisely when dealing with my heart, for you may hurt it in such a way that it would be very hard to mend the next day!

Sometimes we take for granted
the people in our lives
that mean the most to us.
I want to tell you how much
that you being in my life
does for me every day in so many ways.

Is there a way to put all the feelings
I have about us in one small poem,
or can I only hope to intimate
the role that our friendship
Has played in my life?

I never imagined when we first met,
that someday you would be
such an important part of my life.
That in my life full of uncertainties,
I could count on knowing
with unfailing certainty,
That you really are the person
who knows me better than anyone else,
including all my faults and foibles,
and still loves me the way I am.

You understand more about
How I feel
How I think
How I react
How I handle the things in my life,
You just know
Even when I don't give you much to go on
STILL YOU KNOW

You are one of the only people I can trust
to let see those secret places in my soul,
that most people will never see
or even realize are there.

You know the difference between
when I am just blue and feeling overwhelmed,
and when my life is really falling apart.
You help me define those differences
And figure out the best way to get through.

But you are also
the first person I want to call
when something good happens.
When I write a new poem
I want to read it to you,
When I have a new idea
I want to share my creativity,
with the person who has always had faith in me
even when everyone else couldn't see those things in me.

You have loved me unconditionally
in spite of all the mistakes I have made with my life.

You found a way to forgive me
for what I put you through,
because you know a lot of it
Was just my pain
blinding me to everything else.
I know you have felt that same pain
just in different ways,
so you really do understand
many times when others don't.

You are the best friend I never had
A true soulmate who shares
so many of my hopes and dreams.

You know when you need me
I will be there for you
and that I am stronger than you think.
I never want our relationship to feel like a burden
that you must carry alone.
We have gotten through a lot
on our journey together so far,
and I always want to share the load
So we can make it lighter for each other.

You are the best friend I have ever had
and I value the hours we have spent
both laughing and crying together.
But the thing that I thank God for
---Every day of my life ---
Is that he gave me a wonderful loving husband like you.

I miss you on our anniversary.
It's lonelier than most days I'm alone,
Even though we manage on the phone
To touch with words the face we cannot see.
You away are far more dear to me
Than anyone who might remain at home.

I saw each wave of the storm, noticed its rhythm, and

The first wave slow and steady, the next hard and fast, and

I saw each wave of the storm as it quenched the summer heat, and
All I could think of was you
I heard the storm, its thunder piercing the night, and
All I could think of was you
The waves of rain continued, it's rhythm always the same, and

I watched natures fireworks explode in the sky, electricity everywhere, and

The final wave came, pounding hard and fast, thunder roaring its delight, and

Marriage consists of many parts,
Many of which we don't understand.
But the most important ingredient is LOVE,
As love has a powerful need of its own.

Marriage can be the good times and bad,
But knowing how to manage is what matters the most.
In good times you have happiness and love,
In bad times you smile and say it will pass.

Marriage is also about trust for each other,
Trust is hard to explain to most.
It comes in many shapes and form,
But remember without trust you have no marriage at all.

Marriage is about managing when you are apart,
And making the most of the time that you have.
Many have no choice of where they go,
But love and trust can make the distance more bearable.

Marriage has a complete feeling,
Of needing and being needed.
Needing to know you have a friend by your side,
And being needed to love and hold through the night.

Marriage most of all is a life time commitment,
Not all marriages make it that long.
Faithfulness is an important ingredient,
And most have no problem fulfilling that.
