Well there is a happy idea to be sure. In order for this to be good news you would have to confirm for yourself that you were indeed wise, then you would have to know aht way you wanted to go and take heart that you would arrive. Well I trust a whole lot more in hard work than I do in luck, and I have no idea at all what phase the moon is in or even when the nest full moon is. With this bit of advice do they mean to make people wait for good things?  Patience is a great thing and it is worth expoliting at every chance, the ablity to wait can gleen good things in life. So we can agree it is good to wait and work hard, but it is very silly to sit back for the moon to turn and do nothing. There now this is good advice, and I agree with it. here is no need to be wasteful or dramatic it is far better to be practical. I try to be practical each and everyday, not to spend to much money, eat to much, sleep more than nessary, indulge to much, or to be lazy. It is good to work hard and accomplish much too. So in an effort to cheer myself up a tiny bit I bought a box of fortune cookies, and I will allow myself to eat one after dinner until they are gone. I have been glum and that tell me I should do something to cheer myself up so this is what I am doing. I like to travle so being told I will travle makes me smile. Thank God I found a reason to smile today at last! As for the coming into a fortune bit . . .well as much as I would like that it is better to earn what you have than to come into it.  Unless by travling I earn the fortune. Oh well it could be good, I guess?! Possibly. Today I wanted to get more things on my list of tasks done, but hey I have a list again and that is a very good thing right! I hope all who Trick or Treat are safe and only go to front doors with the porch light on. I hope none of the tricks you pull are mean or hurtful to anyone. Remember not to wear any mask over your eyes that could interupt your view and to be careful with your facepaint also. Be sure that your costume is fitting for the weather and that there is no part for you to trip on.  Include something reflective so that the people in auto's can see you and cross streets at intersections. Inspect all candy and treats, throw away any that are open or that do not smell corrent. If you have the possiblity of having the candy x-rayed then do so and let them throw away any of it that is not strictly safe to enjoy. Be sure not to eat to much candy in any given day. Never smash anyone carved pumpkin, they took their time and efort to creat their jack-o-lantern and it is distructive to ruin anyones property in such a hurtful manor. If your driving be sure to look out for families and small children.
