Ghost-Speak

Below is our first EVP recorded at our home. You may need to turn your computer volume up a bit to hear it. First you will hear me invite any spirit to speak then you will hear the voice right after say, "Sandy" quite clearly. The section in blue (below) is the spirit voice portion. Details of this experience are below.

We’d just returned home from a friend’s birthday party. It was a little after midnight and we weren’t tired. We’d been saying for weeks that we wanted to do an EVP* sweep of our town home, but hadn’t gotten around to it. So instead of crawling into bed, we decided to go ahead and do our first EVP sweep. I have an electronic voice recorder I bought recently that works very well. We started at the top of our staircase. I switched the recorder on and asked if there were any spirits that wanted to speak to us. We heard nothing at the time, but when we loaded the sound onto our computer and listened, we heard a voice speak right after I’d finished speaking. I sharpened it conservatively then slowed it just a little to understand it better. The quiet voice clearly says, “Sandy.” We have an idea of who this might be, but aren't sure so we don't want to post it here until we are sure.
