Sleeping together... how tired you were...
How warm our room... how the firelight spread
On walls and ceiling and great white bed!
We spoke in whispers as children do,
And now it was I--and then it was you
Slept a moment, to wake--"My dear,
I'm not at all sleepy," one of us said....
Was it a thousand years ago?
I woke in your arms--you were sound asleep--
And heard the pattering sound of sheep.
Softly I slipped to the floor and crept
To the curtained window, then, while you slept,
I watched the sheep pass by in the snow.
O flock of thoughts with their shepherd Fear
Shivering, desolate, out in the cold,
That entered into my heart to fold!
A thousand years... was it yesterday
When we two children of far away,
Clinging close in the darkness, lay
Sleeping together?... How tired you were..

Hum our nagar k baasi hain hamain dil k paas na rakhain aap,
jo toot k aap ko chaha karay koi aisa saathi daikhain aap.
hum kahan hain chahat k laiq hamain yon na belaya karain,
yaadon k sulagtay sehra main berbaad na khud ko kia
karain.
jub wasal ka koi imkaan nhi tu hijr main yon na jala
karain,
hum jo kuch aap se kehtay hain usay sachay dil se
sochain aap.
meri ankhon pe marta tha ......
meri batooon pe hansta tha
najane shakhs tha kesa... mujhe khonay se darta tha
mujhe jab bhi wo milta tha ..

Tonight as I looked at the moon
I saw the face my heart cried for
and my eyes would not leave sight of.
looking up there I knew
you were out there somewhere
far where I could not reach you.
yet
you breath the same air as I do
sleep under the dreamy night and feel the heat of the same sun as I do.
but
I could not reach you..
that night thinking of you
I closed my eyes and hoped upon seeing your face.
and what a delight
when in my heavenly dream
I came upon your presence
and saw your smile
In your ear I wispeared
how much I have missed you
and what a joy it was to see you.
innocently did you smile and
take my hand in yours
and wispeared back in your joyful tone and said
"and I you".
I woke up with a smile
upon my lips but soon
disapointment did discover
that he was far away
where I could not reahc him
as I looked outside and saw the moon
a tear fell down and I uttered to the darkness of the night
"I do miss you"

when you use to make time for us to go out together,

and not to forget our coffee,

I never knew how much it meant to me
until we split apart,

I thank the LORD and YOU for whom I've become.

If you were a painting,
No colours could express
The beauty deep inside you,
A rainbow, nothing less.
If you were a sculpture
The clay could hardly make
Your figure of an angel
Without one mistake.
If you were a euphony
No choir could really sing
All the beautiful music
Your eyes could possibly bring.
So here I am, an artist,
With inspiration beyond belief
But to capture such rare beauty,
I'd have to be a thiefBeauty
Your lips, your eyes, your soul
Are like a work of art,
